1 month later...

"My lady, are you cold?" Emma asked as she covered Catherina's shoulder with a scarf.

"Thank you."

Catherina has been staying outside the balcony windows often these days. She sometimes stayed there to watch the moonlight or the garden below.

She always hang out there to reminisce certain memories about a certain someone.

'Owen..'

She always remembered Owen's last visit and the things he said.

He clearly told her that he had something important to tell her. And Catherina wanted to know what that important thing was.

She's worried about his whereabouts. She missed him.

"!!!"

Catherina suddenly felt that something dripped out of her nose.

Catherina covered her nose. "Emma- please leave. Now." She uttered whilst turning her back on Emma.

"Yes, my lady."

Emma speedily left her room and Catherina was finally comfortable.

"...."

Catherina wiped her nose and saw the blood that is evident on her palm.

She stared at it and somehow felt hopeless.

*Drip*

*Drip*

This time, it wasn't blood that dripped.

"I-"

It was tears.

"I don't want to die." Catherina quietly sobbed.

She knew it too well.

From the past weeks, she experienced the same symptoms she had in her last life.

Recurrent nosebleed, tiredness and fatigue, and even tiny red spots appeared on her skin under that dress.

'It's the same. Am- am I really meant to die the same way twice?'

Base on her observation, she only had little time left.

And her family doesn't even know about it yet.

"Hngg— I don't accept this. Heuk- I-I still want to spend time with my family. I still want to see Owen. I want to live-" Catherina sobbed.

"Rina?"

"?!"

She was surprised of the sudden voice coming from her brother.

"!!"

'When did he come in?'

"Brother-"

"What's going on?"

Callahan wanted to check on his sister.

He wanted to know why Catherina's been shutting herself in her room these days.

One day, she suddenly started to distance herself from them.

Ever since 'that day' happened.

"Rina? Are you alright?" Raphael asked in surprise.

"Huh?"

"You're bleeding, dear." Carla worriedly said.

"I.. am?" Catherina wiped her nose and saw blood.

'This can't be happening-'

"I'll get the doctor." Callahan stood up from his seat.

At that moment, Catherina already figured out her problem.
