Summary
Even on a new planet they were facing challenges. This wouldn't be a clean slate for them like they had hoped for. Only now instead of being the grounders, they were now the invaders. They had to figure out how to be better than they were before.
But Nia couldn't help and wonder how she was meant to do better if she was fighting the same old battles. Despite all the resistance they were facing, she was dealing with the same fights in her mind. Now instead of simply overcoming the forces on the outside but she had to beat a bigger darkness that was growing inside her.
If only things would simple as they seemed. Nia had to pay an ultimate price as the darkness grew. Not only did that crush a part of her spirit, but if also reminded her about what she was fighting for.
Now she had to fight for what she loved most. She had to fight against what never imagined.
