Chapter thirty

In the morning i woke up and freshen up then went to make breakfast. While I was still cooking Mpendulo came and held me from the back.
Me:morning babe.
Mpendulo:good morning. This place feels different today. It shows that mommy is home.
"Good morning mommy and daddy. "
Me:good morning. Did you guys sleep well?
Aya:yes.
Me:good. I'm making breakfast. Go and sit down. I will bring the food when im done.
They all left but Thando didn't want to leave and Sphesihle was on her tail meaning she wasn't leaving either.
Me:come big girl.
I picked Thando up and kissed her.
Me:sit there.
I showed her the bunk stool and gave her a muffin. I picked Sphesihle and did the same. She vomited on me.
Me:oh my God!
Mpendulo: I'll go clean her up.
Me:it's fine. I will take care of it.  You can clean the tiles
I went to bath her and she was splashing the water.
Me:don't do that.
Sphe:are you my mom?
Me:i can be your mom.
Sphe:i want you to be my mom.
Me:okay im your mom then. Where does it hurt?
She tocuhed her stomach. I brushed her stomach while she looked at me. I finished and dressed her.
Mpendulo:you're done.
Me:yeah. I think she has a stomachache. She says her stomach hurt.
Mpendulo:i have to take her to the hospital.
Me:relax. I gave her medicine and warm water will also help. She'll be fine and running around soon.
Mpendulo:i have to make sure. What if she gets worse?
Me:i know these things. Even Thando experience it sometimes.
Mpendulo:still. I have to make sure. What if my child gets worse while i could have done something.
Me:okay. You can take your "child" to the hospital.
Mpendulo:i didn't  mean it like   that.
Me:it's fine.Take her to the hospital.
I finished with the breakfast and went to call the others and we ate.

Me:dumelang papa.
He kept quiet. I finally found the courage to call him. I heard some shuffling on his side.
Me:papa can you hear me?
Dad:yes. Where have you been all this time? Not  even a phone call to let me know that you're fine.
Me:i was in limpopo with Rapelang. Im sorry for not telling you.
Dad:it's been almost a year without seeing you. Do i have to die so that you can come and see me?
Me:papa sa bua yaalo hle. Wa lwala?

After talking to dad i felt bad. He's the one person who is always there for me no matter what.
Me:Lisa go and open the door.
Lisa:mama Im tired. What if they kidnap me?
Me:you're just lazy. Go and open. And tomorrow we are going to Rustenburg.
Lisa:yes!
She went to open the door dancing. She loves going to Rustenburg because they play on the streets.

I nod and just looked at my phone.
"Anyway... Things are going well with your properties and the companies. It's going well even after that scandal with the media."bonolo

"No. I don't trust anyone with your assets and everything you own okay? After what happened with Rapula i will always look out for you. I know Mpendulo is not like Rapula but please...don't ever give a man shares from your company. Even if it's not a man. That's why I didn't take the 10% you wanted to give me. We got up and went to the nursery.
"These two were here all this time?"
Me:they can't get enough of the babies. They even wanted to sleep here last night.

Aya:no! Mommy you can keep Lwandle please.
We laughed. We spent our day with Bonolo. My day was good and amazing. Mpendulo came back at 6pm.
Mpendulo:sawubona.
Me:hi. How did it go at the hospital?
Mpendulo:good. They just gave me medicines then after that we went to visit Zweli. He moved this side two months ago.
Me:okay. Seems like you had a good time. How was Thando?
Mpendulo:she was fine.
Me:okay. Thing is she used to cry when Rapelangs kids took her with when they went to play. She was always on my hip. It's good that she didn't crh.
Mpendulo:she wouldn't cry with her daddy. How are the boys?
Me:they are good. They were sleeping the whole day. I won't sleep tonight

Me:so where are Sphe's medicines?

I nodded and just looked at him.

Me:you also hated her mother.
