Elmer babysitting Chris.
It is known that he is close with the triplets so of course when Nick and Matt had a lot on their plates they called up a trustworthy friend of theirs to help out with Little Chris for the time being.
Besides Chris loves Elmer's attention and company.
Elmer would mostly turn on beats and let little Chris go at it, spitting out random words, pretending to have a concert.
Not to mention Elmer was less strict, letting him slip out some cuss words here and there. Of course Matt and Nick didn't know that he let Chris cuss, but they had an idea.
Chris also enjoyed Elmer's head rubs he'd give him whenever he was put down for a nap.
While Chris loved hanging out with Elmer, regressed or not, he still has issues with pronouncing words, leaving him with calling Elmer Elmo on the daily basis. Thankfully Elmer didn't mind too much, the stares he got were questionable, people often believing his name was Elmo, but as long as little Chris was happy he didn't care.
