She cursed under her breath after we left and felt ashamed that she hadn't gotten any answers tonight. She tried to focus on tomorrow however. There was always tomorrow. Daemon and I split up in the woods and waited for someone, something to come. Something somewhere eventually would. Before the night was over, we'd have fed and been more than grateful to be done with it (until next time).
I heard a the crunch of the snow and could smell the blood of Him. Finn! Finn was filled with the sweetest blood I had ever smelled and it was incredibly intoxicating to my nostrils. I could hear in the distance (probably where Daemon was), the same feeling. His victim's blood however was more on the tangy side of things. That meant that he'd end up with heartburn later (poor bastard). I hid behind the nearest tree and waited for Finn. I saw his black trenchcoat and appeared behind him, without a single sound.
I bit into his neck and began to suck him dry, like an orange or lemon. I could feel Daemon draining his guy like a damn lime. In the distance, I felt Daemon getting closer to me and knew that he would bury the body for me while I transformed into the other beast (unfortunately). Being a Hybrid wasn't really all that it was cracked up to be. You had to feed one beast at a time and for some reason, they were different in the way they wanted the victim. The Werewolf wanted a victim to scream while it ate away at its prey and the Vampire wanted just a helpless victim who could easily be controlled if necessary. The shit was strange.
Daemon took Finn's dead body and began to place him against the tree and waited for my other change to occur. The good thing about the Werewolf was that I was able to dig the holes for my victims and didn't need to worry as I did as a Vampire. The bones breaking and flesh ripping caused intense, agonizing pain to me and I was just hopeful to get it over with already. Once I was the Werewolf, I dug the hole for him to place the body in and once that was done, I had covered it up just as easily. I had ran off to find the next victim, the victim of the Werewolf.
I found them rather quicker than anticipated but nonetheless, I had found my victims. Chase and Willow. My feelings for Willow had been taken away by Chase so this was going to be such an easy night for me. The care I had for either of then was now gone because of the fact that they had become lovers and no balls to even let me know, gave me the power I needed to tear their love to shreds. To take then to such an early grave, so easily. Daemon wasn't far away from me and I still knew I had to take them out.
I watched as they had gotten closer to their destination and then I went in for the kill. Such an easy kill. They didn't struggle a bit. Chase went first and I made sure it was nice and slow and Willow was terrified, watching her lover being killed by what she assumed was a very large dog. Her death however, was more fun for me because she screamed more for help and it was so wonderful. Once both were dead, he approached the bodies and had picked then up and followed me to near where we had buried Finn.
I dug a bigger hole this time and he threw both bodies in, without a care. I covered the hole up and changed back into my human form and so did he and we headed off back home. We could breathe a little better now because we had gotten it over with and we had gotten more than one type of release out for ourselves. We could have clear ninds when going back to the drawing board about this Wynrie thing. Maybe getting some answers. When we got home, Embrielle didn't utter a word and we headed up to the shower to get cleaned and dressed in fresh clothes.
We went back to the drawing board with Embrielle and tried to come up with possibilities of what could be going on and we had come up with quite a few. Some logical and some seemed too crazy to be possible. She could have been at a party and gotten drunk. She could've slept with someone, maybe Brice. She could have gotten in Zeb's way and his ego can't handle it. She could be pregnant. We couldn't be certain without asking her and nobody really wanted to have that awkward ass conversation. We decided to just get some sleep and assess the shit in the morning.
