CALLISTO STOOD BY the control centre of the t.a.r.d.i.s, staring in wonder as she whirred and wheezed. despite it not being the most pleasant sound in the universe, she enjoyed listening to it. her ring-covered fingers glided across the panel, something she had found the ship enjoyed. her lips curled into a half smile before it dropped, seeing the doctor walk into the room.
"hello." callisto greeted as he came to stand beside her. "if you're looking for rose, she's showing, um... whatever his name is around."
"yeah, i know." the doctor nodded, staring at the control panel.
"i take it you'd rather have it be just you and rose?" callisto prompted.
"no, not at all. your company's nice, although the sudden glares can be a little startling." he joked. "i'd rather adam not come, however."
"do you not like seeing him flirting with the woman you love?" callisto teased.
the doctor scoffed, "i'm not in love with her. i just care about her."
"so you're a protective friend?" callisto mused.
"yes, exactly." he grinned. "you can understand why, though, can't you? he worked at that awful building and willingly."
"i suppose. rose's choice of who she enjoys the company of and apparently it's... uh—"
"adam."
"—adam. see, it was on the tip of my tongue." callisto said and the doctor smiled. "she'll see what a little bitch-boy he really is in time."
"i hope so. i can't keep hearing him say 'wow' every five minutes." the doctor said.
"i've heard him say, 'it's bigger on the inside' around four times so far. i only didn't hear him when he was too far away." callisto mused. "is it possible to look outside? if we're not mid-teleport, that is? it'd be nice to see something other than chopped off alien hands."
"yeah!" the doctor beamed and pressed a few things on the control panel to pause the flight through space. grabbing callisto's hand, he pulled her towards the door, the green woman's eyes widening at the hurried pace of the man. "personally, i think saturn is beautiful." and with that, he pulled the doors of the t.a.r.d.i.s open to reveal saturn, spinning slowly in all its glory.
"i'd be mad not to agree." callisto mumbled, watching the ice and rocks fly around the planet that created to famous ring in awe.
the doctor looked down at her, taking in the bright tone of her skin and the silver markings on her face. her black hair faded into a hot pink, natural or not, he wasn't sure. she wore a black leather jumpsuit, the top made partly of a mesh fabric that showed nicely with her skin. the top half of the suit cut off at her shoulders, a patch of the chest cut out. fingerless leather gloves covered her hands and wrists, the material almost looking like it was folded. rings adorned her fingers and she had a straps of rope around one thigh.
