THE CREATURES WERE still outside of the church, killing people that passed by. the doctor continued checking doors and windows, seeing a car come out of a portal and going into another not one second later through the window. one shadow of one of the creatures covered the main stain glass window at the back of the church. rose was sat near the alter as pete walked out of one of the doors.

he approached rose, "this mate a'yours, what'd he mean this is your fault?"

"dunno. just everything." rose said, tearfully.

"i gave you my car keys. you don't give your keys to a complete stranger." pete shook his head. "it's like a trusted you. moment i met ya, i just did. a wound in time? you called me dad. i can see it. my eyes. jackie's attitude, you sound like her when you're shouting." he went to place his hand on rose's cheek but through otherwise and lowered it. however, crying, rose lifted his hand to her cheek, holding his hand back. "you are. you're my rose! you're my rose grown up!"

they hugged tightly, rose sobbing into his shoulder.

callisto opened a door, moving so the doctor could pass her and check the one through the small door. the bride and groom rushed towards the pair, the groom speaking, "excuse me, mr...?"

"doctor." he answered.

"you seem to know what's goin' on." the groom mused.

"i give that impression, yeah." the doctor replied casually.

"i just wanted to ask—"

"can you save us?" the bride, sarah, finished.

the doctor looked at the couple, his sonic screwdriver having stopped whirring as he walked out of the small room, "who're you two, then?"

"stuart hoskins."

"sarah clark."

"and one extra. boy or girl?" the doctor looked at sarah's stomach.

"i dunno." she breathed. "i don't wanna know, really."

"how did all this get started?" the doctor questioned.

"outside the beatbox club, 2 in the morning." stuart said, smiling.

"street corner. i'd lost my purse, didn't have money for a taxi." sarah grinned.

"i took her home." stuart continued.

"then what?" the doctor asked. "asked her for a date?"

"wrote his number on the back of my hand." sarah said, her voice clearly happy but also breaking.

"never got rid of her since." stuart's smile only widened. "my dad said..." his grin dropped and another screech came from outside.

"i don't know what this is all about. and i know we're not important..."
