THE T.A.R.D.I.S WHEEZED as it materialised in its new destination. however, something wasn't right about the landing and the confused expression on the doctor's face made that clear to his companions. they all left the ship, the doctor touching the wood of the 'police box' gently.

"i dunno what's wrong with her. she's sort of... queasy." the doctor mumbled. "indigestion, like she didn't wanna land."

"if you think ghats gonna be trouble, we could always get which inside and go somewhere else." rose prompted, she and the doctor bursting into laughter, callisto chuckling as she looked around the room they'd appeared in.

"i think we've landed inside a cupboard." the doctor hummed. "here we go."

they walked forwards, pushing open a bright, yellow door with the number 15 engraved on it.

"open door 15."

"some sort of base. moon base, sea base, space base. they build these things outta kits." the doctor explained.

"glad we're indoors. sounds like a storm out there." rose muttered, glancing around as callisto let the door shut behind her, the wind howling loudly in the distance.

"open door 16."

"human design, you gotta think about kits. it's put together like a flat pack wardrobe, only bigger and easier." the doctor explained.

"you'd hope so. there's always a screw or a piece missing in packed furniture." callisto spoke up. "although, if that happened with these kits, you could die."

"aren't you a ball of sunshine." the doctor joked.

"oh, yeah. i bring happiness wherever i go with my words." callisto remarked sarcastically as she pushed open the next door in front of them.

"open door 17."

"oh, it's a sanctuary base!" the doctor exclaimed as he stepped down the few stairs by the door.

"close door 17."

"deep space exploration. we've gone way out. and listen to that, underneath..." the doctor paused, pointing to the floor and they could all hear a faint, repetitive noise, "someone's drilling."

"welcome to hell." rose said.

"oh, it's not that bad." the doctor denied.

callisto pulled him by the waist to turn him around as rose laughed, "no, doc, it's on the wall."

"hold on. what does that say?" the doctor asked, rushing over to the wall, looking at the unreadable language on the wall underneath the large WELCOME TO HELL displayed in black spray paint. he crouched by it, eyebrows furrowed. "that's weird, it won't translate."

"but i thought the t.a.r.d.i.s translated everything. writing as well." rose spoke up. "i should see english."

"exactly." the doctor mumbled.
