"YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!"
"now hold on there, wait a minute." the doctor interrupted, 3d glasses on once more as he and callisto strolled through the open doors of the room where rose and mickey were surrounded by the four daleks.
the daleks turned to face the couple, "alert! alert! you are the doctor! and the woman who tried to destroy the emperor!"
"i didn't try, i did." callisto smirked.
"sensors report they are unarmed!" another whirred.
"that's me, always!" the doctor exclaimed.
"i lost my best sword, so it's not by choice, believe me." callisto huffed.
"then you are powerless!" dalek sec declared.
"not us. never!" the doctor replied, yanking the glasses off his face.
"and how are you?" callisto asked rose quietly.
"oh, same old, y'know." she chuckled.
"good! and mickedy-mick-mickey!" the doctor beamed, fist pumping the man. "nice to see ya!"
"and you, boss." mickey smiled.
"looks like the parallel world is treating you well." callisto mused.
mickey shrugged, "not many complaints, taking away the cybermen."
"oh, they do dampen the mood, don't they?" she joked.
"social interaction will cease!"
"how did you survive the time war?" dalek sec demanded.
"by fighting. on the front line. i was there at the fall of arcadia. some day, i might even come to terms with that." the doctor said, the memory of the war putting a mix of anger and sadness into his tone. it changed swiftly. "but you lot ran away!"
"we had to survive!" dalek sec whirred.
"the last four daleks in existence. so, what's so special about you?" the doctor asked.
"doctor, they've got names." rose explained. "i mean, daleks don't have names, do they? but one of them said they were—"
"i am dalek thay!" one interrupted.
"i am dalek sec!" the only black dalek added.
"dalek jast!" a third exclaimed.
"dalek caan." the fourth finished.
the doctor grinned madly, "so that's it! at last! the cult of skaro. i thought you were just a legend."
