"You played really well, Chris." Hunter said from across the table.

Stella felt her brother tense up. He sat on her right with a finished plate of pizza. "Thanks, man. I wanna be on my A-game throughout the cup."

"You definitely were." Stella reassured him, resting a hand on his shoulder.

Gio nodded from her left, looking past her body at his teammate. "We got this, tiger."

Christian nodded slowly, looking around at the table of young adults: excluding Ryder. The adults all sat at a table across the patio — and some of the other U.S boys were sitting at the round tables beside them. "Well, it really helps to have my beautiful girlfriend here to support me."

"Here we go." Stella whispered under her breath.

She saw Gio hold back a chuckle, pressing his hand to his mouth. His eyes flickered to hers, both giddy at their inside joke. His brown hair nuzzled against hers, leaning over to whisper, "20 bucks says your brother fights Hunter tonight."

"There's no bet." Stella shoved his arm. "I agree with you."

Hunter glanced at Hannah, whose cheeks looked like roses. "I'm sure. It's nice to have people there to support you in tough times."

"Tough?" Christian raised a brow.

"Guys." Hannah interjected, pushing her chair out from under the table. "Isn't it time we get back?"

"The parents are still eating." Gio noted with a head-nod.

Hannah narrowed her eyes at him. "Well, I'm tired so I wanna go back."
