Chapter 23 SC and DC

When I arrived at my designated room I wanted to unpack my thing until I saw a letter on my bed. It stated that before unpacking my things I should go to the directors office as soon as I have arrive. I sighed knowing what this is about. Rushing outside the room since I guessed that the others are waiting for me I made my way undetected like always towards the director's office. Opening the door I was greeted by the director, Nico and Cecilia. Looking at them they gave me a sly grin.

"What?"

"Oh nothing much. I just had to overhear a student calling that new noble the prince of Elenoir."

"So it has already made its rounds?"

"It has, yes. Where do you think we are? We are at the Xyrus academy. A school. Gossip travels faster than even you. But don't worry there are only about 90 percent of all human male students after you, saying that you are unfit to be the prince of Elenoir."

"Let me guess Clive and Lucas are included?"

"Oh did I say something about them? Hoooow did you guess thaaat?" Cecilia asked with irony soaking her words.

I said nothing more and just sat down. "So director what for did you call us here?"

"I called you here because I intend to create the DC or disciplinary committee that is like the sword of the school while the SC or student council is the shield."

"And what do we have to do with it?"

"I want you to lead and search for capable students to partake in it."

"That sounds interesting. I already have a list for people that are capable but before that we do not want to lead it at least not officially. But we want something else."

"I am listening."

"First Cecilia is going to be a part of the SC while Nico and I are going to partake in the DC. We want Kai Crestless to also be a part of the student council. And We want a written agreement that in case of your absents that we are allowed to take measures that we deem necessary. We expect strong backlash since the school has opened its doors to other races than humans as well. We also expect that the nobles will do more than just bully the other students and I guess that there are also teachers that have the same viewpoint. Therefore we are in need of this written statement."

"If you can organize a DC until tomorrow that is satisfying I will accept your conditions."

"Oh and one more thing. I guess that there is a separate dorm for the DC and SC members am I right?"

"You are correct that there is a meeting hall for the DC members but not a dorm. And as for the SC there is a bureau."

"Could you arrange for extra rooms in the DC hall or next to them. We will also pay it. It is needed since we intent to train them. Not just in battle but also in tactics."

"You really do anticipate a war."

"We do that is the reason why we want Kai in the SC since he is a spy and in that way we can train the DC members without problems and Cecil can keep an eye on him. Now for the members. Claire Bladeheart she will be the official leader, Curtis Glayder, Kathlyn Glayder, Theodore Maxwell, Feyrith Ivsaar III, Doradrea Oreguard and the two of us. There are mainly humans because there are still more humans than elves or dwarves here. In addition I invite Lilia Helstea and Tessia Eralith to our trainings."

"The prince of Sapin and the princesses of Sapin and Elenoir for training. The niece of the adventurer guild manager and the other students are well balanced as well. I will accept your proposal and the rooms for you two are already prepared. Should I prepare extra rooms for Lilia, Tessia and you Cecilia as well?"
