No One's POV

Present

Sorano walked into Sabertooth and searched, scanning the hall for Yukino. She hadn't seen Yukino in what felt like forever and yes wanted nothing more than to catch up and meet her sister's boyfriend.

"Yukino!" Sorano yelled as she spotted Yukino sitting next to Minerva.

"Sorano, you're back," Yukino said swinging her legs over the bench to greet her sister. Sorano thrust herself at Yukino and hugged her tightly.

"I counted the days until I'd see you again." Sorano confessed before she pulled herself away. "Now where is that boyfriend of yours I've heard so much about?"

"He's over there." Minerva said gesturing to a certain spiky blonde hair White Dragon Slayer.

"Hi Sorano." Sting said with a smile.

"Sorano, Sting, Sting, Sorano." Yukino began.

I hope this works. Yukino, Sting, and Minerva thought.

"Sting?" Sorano asked as she shook Sting's hand.

"Yeah, that's me. Good to have you back." Sting said unsure of what else to say. Sting recalled it was a while ago, Midnight came by Sabertooth to request Sorano's help on a mission. It seemed Sorano was always spending time with Yukino that she couldn't even remember Sting's name.

"You are not at all what I pictured you'd look like." Both Sting and Yukino did all they could to prevent themselves from face palming from Sorano's commentary.

Rogue moved over to Minerva as they began whispering. "Is this what you intended to happen?"

"No, but I can't say I'm not enjoying Sting and Yukino dealing with Sorano." Minerva said as she watched Sting's uneasy glance to Yukino. Minerva could imagine Sting is doing his best not to offend Sorano or Yukino.

"I guess it is a sight to see Sting struggle for words."

"Besides, these two have been harboring feelings for each other for a while and let's be honest it's starting to get a little sad at how oblivious they both are. If I must act as the villain to get these two to confess, then very well."

"I've never seen you so devoted to something that wasn't your cooking." Rogue added.

"I do have other interests Rogue. One being getting these two lovebirds to be actual lovebirds." Minerva said.

"So, how did you two meet- psk. That's a silly question because here we are in the same guild." Sorano said brushing off the question, "How'd the two of you get together." Sorano asked.

Both Sting and Yukino did their best to maintain a calm composure. They hadn't even thought of answers to a question like that. Suddenly they found themselves under prepared.

"Why do they look like two deers in the path of a magic mobile?" Rufus asked walking up to Minerva and Rogue.

"I was about to ask the same thing." Rogue said facing Minerva, "Did you help prepare them for this?"

"Of course not." Minerva said before Rufus and Rogue looked at each other confused. "The two of them are the first to entire the guild hall every morning, they take jobs together almost as much as the Twin Dragons do and they are friends. There is no preparation needed when asked basic questions such as when's Sting's birthday or what's Yukino's favorite color. They should know each other well enough to answer."

"I supposed that's reasonable but M'lady they both lack the knowledge of how they got together as that has not happened." Rufus explained.

"I'm aware, however, there is something similar to that they can draw comparison from." Minerva said as she rested her eyes on the show unfolding before them.

"Oh," Sting said as he rubbed his head, "Well let's see that was uh,"

"Oh, that was ugh, I think it was..." Yukino struggled as she tried to come up with a backstory. But creating a backstory from nowhere is hard. You have to consider everything. How long ago was it. Did it start the same time as the rumors and was it winter or fall. Yukino couldn't be sure what the rumors said or just what Sorano knew. Before she knew it, she blurted out a random answer.

"The Grand Magi Games!" Yukino blurted out.

"Abyss Horn!" Sting blurted.

Minerva covered her mouth to hold in a laugh. While she was rooting for her friends, she couldn't help but smile at the comedy show they pulled together.

"I'm confused." Sorano said.

Sting faced Yukino before switching his answer, but Yukino had switched her answer to match his. Minerva was now hiding a grin under her hand.

"The truth is, both." Yukino says, "T-There are some people who meet and get together because they know when they meet or have a connection but for us, it came at two different times. We didn't know we liked each other until these times." Yukino explained.

Rogue, Minerva, and Rufus listened in as Olga slowly moved towards them to evesdrop.

"I-I first realized I like Sting shortly after the Grand Magic Games. B-Before them he was so different. So... So intense and intimidating. But afterwards, after Fairy Tail, he had changed. I mean, he and everyone started a brawling in the King's palace for me to remain in their guild." Yukino said letting out a little laugh, "And afterwards, the guild changed, he changed. We all became a family and Sting is our master. He-he changed us for the better and gave us a home. He gave me a home when I had none. I-I guess that's when I first started liking him. When he changed and he called us all family." Yukino shared.

Rogue couldn't help but shed some tears he generated after hearing Yukino's testimony like story. Meanwhile Sting was staring at Yukino, his eyes nearly wide as he found himself questioning if those words were true.

Sting's POV

That story, it can't be a story. It can't be made up, can it? We both were struggling to come up with something, some story to improvise on how we met and came to like each other. Hell we couldn't even agree how we started to realize we have feelings for each other. Yet she came up with such an elaborate story that is making Rogue cry in the distance. That can't be a fabricated story. It can't be. Could it? And if it's not then...Yukino has loved me since the games?

No One's POV

"How romantic?" Sorano said clasping her hands together as she nearly twirled herself.

"Yeah, romantic." Sting added before he faced Sorano who met him with glaring eyes.

"Now, Mr. Sting, what made you fall for my sister? And be careful how you answer." She warned him.

Well, if we're being honest here...

"It was when...."
