I'm sitting at a bar with a nice whiskey on the rocks when my phone rings "Are you done arguing?" I ask "They sold the painting, I sent you the address. Meet us there" Sam says "Okay" I say hanging up, I chug down the last of my drink and run off. I speed to the house and Dean is trying to knock down the door "I can't knock this sucker down. I gotta pick it." Dean complains, I speed to him, move him to the side and literally kick the door in "Hot" He whispers, I wink at him and we rush inside the house "Evelyn" Sarah calls out "Evelyn" Dean and I call out too, we walk into the lounge and Evelyn, I'm assuming, is sitting down half turned away from us suspiciously still "Evelyn? It's Sarah Blake....Are you all right?" Sarah says trying to reach out for Evelyn "Sarah don't. Sarah" Sam says urgently but she ignores, Evelyn's head tips back exposing the huge slash on her throat making Sarah scream

I can feel my face transforming back and forth from the blood "It's fresh guys" I whisper, I look at the painting and Isaiah is staring down at his daughter instead of straight ahead making me frown. Sam is guiding Sarah out of the room, we call the cops but leave before they arrive leaving Sarah alone

We are back at the motel. Dean is sitting on the table with the laptop, I'm sitting down next to him watching Sam pace back and forth "The painting moved again" I speak up "What?" Sam asks "The dude, he was staring at his daughter. I have a weird feeling here. Oh and Sarah is about to knock" I say pointing to the door "What?" Sam repeats confused, there's a knock on the door. He opens and Sarah walks in, I fake gasp at this and Dean sniggers next to me "Hey, you alright?" Sam asks

"That's such a stupid thing to ask" I whisper to Dean "You should've heard him earlier on the phone to her" Dean replies "That bad?" I ask "Don't get me started" Dean replies rolling my eyes "It's like you're not even related" I joke, Dean smirks "Don't thank me, I'm about to call them right back if you don't tell me what the hell's going on. Who's killing these people?" Sarah questions, Sam looks over at us "I can compel her to forget" I suggest "Excuse me?" She asks "It's not 'who'. It's 'what' is killing those people." Sam says changing the subject

I can't see her expression but the sound of the pounding of her heart is showing pure fear and confusion, Sam sighs "Sarah, you saw that painting move." Sam says "No...no I was...I was seeing things. It's impossible." Sarah replies getting agitated "Yeah well, welcome to our world." Dean speaks up "Sarah, I know this sounds crazy...but we think that that painting is haunted." Sam adds "You're joking" Sarah replies with a laugh but I can hear the soft crack of her voice, She looks at us one at a time noticing how serious we are

"You're not joking. God, the guys I go out with." Sarah says "He's not so bad" I say "Sarah, think about it. Evelyn, the Telesca's, they both had the painting. And there have been others before that. Wherever this thing goes people die. And we're just trying to stop it. And that's the truth." Sam explains "Then I guess you'd better show me. I'm coming with you." Sarah says taking a deep breath "Absolutely not" I say, she raises her eyebrows at me "That thing in there will tear you into little pieces in a heart beat" I warn her "Look, you guys are probably crazy, but if you're right about this? Well me and my Dad sold that painting that might have got these people killed. Look I'm not saying I'm not scared because I am scared as hell but...I'm not going to run and hide either." Sarah says, I smile at how brave she is being

"I like this one" I say getting to my feet and following her out "How do you handle this?" She asks me "I mean, I've been living like this since I was five so it's barely any surprise" I say "That long?" She asks "Almost twenty years" I say with a small smile across my lips "Doesn't this scare you?" She asks "Not anymore" I reply honestly "only thing that scares the hell out of me is seeing these guys get hurt" I say, the guys are trailing behind us

We drive back to Evelyns house and they have fixed the door "Do I kick it back in?" I ask "No" Sam warns me, he gets down and picks the lock "Ahhh... isn't this a crime scene?" Sarah asks "You've already lied to the cops. What's another infraction?" Dean asks, we get in and Sam takes down the painting from the wall so we can examine it "See look" I say pointing out Isaiah looking at his daughter "Aren't you worried that it's going to kill us?" Sarah asks "Nah, it seems to do its thing at night. I think we're all right in the daylight." Sam replies, Dean starts comparing the picture in the book we have with the painting

"check it out. The razor, it's closed in this one but it's open in that one." Dean says, we look back at it "What are you guys looking for?" Sarah asks "The spirit is changing some shit around in the painting and there must be a reason for it" I say with a shrug "Hey hey look at this. The painting in the painting." Sam points out "Looks like a crypt, or a mausoleum or something." Dean says, he looks around, grabs a thick glass ashtray and uses it as a magnifying glass "Merchant." Dean reads

we share a look and leave

We are on our third graveyard and so far found nothing "This is the third boneyard we've checked. I think this ghost is jerking us around." Dean complains "So you this is what you guys do for a living? And in heels?" Sarah asks looking at my now muddy favourite pair of boot heels "Not exactly. we don't get paid and Regina, she is crazy" Sam replies "They're great for skull-crushing," I say proudly "Look," I say pointing to a mausoleum with the name Merchant on the front. Dean breaks the lock and we go in, There is a number of nameplates as well as four urns in front of little glass-fronted boxes

"Okay, that right there -- is the creepiest things I've ever seen." Sarah says, I look over and scrunch my nose at the creepy doll in a case "It was a... sort of tradition at the time. Whenever a child died sometimes they'd preserve the kid's favourite toy in a glass case, put it next to the headstone or crypt." Sam explains "That's terrifying" I say "Noticed anything strange?" Dean asks, I look around "Ah ... where do I start?" Sarah asks, Sam sniggers "huh" I say noticing "Where is Daddy dearest?" I ask, Sam frowns "There's only four" Sam says "Yeah Mom and the three kids" Dean says

We drive to the town office "What are you doing?" Dean asks as I walk out with him "As far as I remember, there is only one of us who can compel people" I say "Good point" Dean says, the two of us go into the office building and I lean on the front desk looking at the receptionist "Hi there" I say with a smile "My friend and I, we need access to the death certificates of the Merchant family. No questions asked" I compel her, she's looking into my eyes "Yes, right through here" She says in a robotic tone, she guides us up some stairs and into an office

"They will be here" She replies "Great, leave us" I say to her and she does "That's creepy" Dean says "It's very useful" I say, I walk over to the file cabinet and starts looking through the. Dean comes behind me, very closer and puts his hands on my waist "You look sexy when you're concentrated" Dean says leaning over and kissing my neck "You're weird" I say "You love it" Dean whispers in my ear, I find the file and pull it out before turning to face Dean. I pull him down by the collar kissing him "We have to go" I whisper against his lips "mhm" He says pecking my lips a few times. We look through the file

We head back out, Sam and Sarah are talking quietly and it's looking a little intense "Am I interrupting something?" Dean asks, they turn to look at us "No" Sam replies, his heart skips a beat and I smirk at him and he notices rolling his eyes at me "So what did you two get?" Sam asks "Paydirt. Apparently the surviving relatives of the Merchant family were so ashamed of Isaiah that they didn't want him interred with the rest of the family. So, they handed him over to the county, the county gave him a pauper's funeral. Economy style. Turns out he wasn't cremated; he was buried in a pine box"

"So there are bones to burn?" Sam asks "There are bones to burn." Dean repeats "Tell me you know where." Sam pleads

"Of course we do"
