Chapter 96

"You're truly disgusting for saying those things, we don't feel that way with Sam" Regina says "I know, I just wanted to rattle some feathers" I reply "you do know they're pulling human Dean out right now" Regina says "I know, but him being back won't do anything. Sam is the only one with power to bring you back" I say "I thought we had a deal" Regina says "except I am having too much fun over here" I reply "Plus, there's only one way to bring you back and I don't think Sammy will remember far enough to understand why it is him" I reply "Of course he is, they put the devil back in the cage and lived to tell about it. Do you think they won't know how to pull me back? There's a reason why Dean has to wake up before I do, because if Sam doesn't remember then he will" Regina says "You don't scare me" I say "No, but they do" 

I gasp for air as life snaps me out of my head "You killed me?" I yell angrily at Castiel, Sam is nowhere around "When I get out of here I'm going to slice you up like a fucking pig" I growl, Castiel looks away from me. Dean is standing up from his chair "Dean?" I ask "Not the Dean you wish was here" Dean replies "You are so fucking weak, even as a demon you still get snapped right back" I roll my eyes at him, He smiles at me before walking away. There are so many noises in here and this stupid vervain is getting in the way of hearing their plan "We will pull you out, Regina" Castiel says before walking away from me

Third Person's P.O.V

"We have you back," Sam says to Dean, they hug tightly for a few seconds "How are we going to bring her back? I have seen her in action, she wants nothing to do with her humanity. The amount of people she has killed in New York, Crowley has cleaned up her messes so we wouldn't find her" Dean says "She killed Janet and Hudson too, that will eat her up when she's back to normal" Sam replies "You're the only one that can get her back, is there any hint in that?" Dean asks "Yeah, she had this chain she would wear hooked on her jeans in high school" Sam says, Dean frowns "Yeah, she got it from some guy. She never told me who it was but she was in love with him, sickly in love. He broke her heart, it was really bad. Right before we left for Stanford she got rid of it. Hated herself for it but thought it was for the best" Sam says 

Dean looks guilty "I gave her that chain Sam, I told her not to tell you it was from me because you were so paranoid about us getting together. I messed up, bad. She gave it back to me. More like threw it at me and told me to burn in hell" Dean explains pursing his lips together "Do you have it?" Sam asks, Dean's eyes widen and he runs to the garage, Sam is close behind. Dean opens the boot of his car before lifting the fake bottom, on his favourite gun hangs a single metal chain. The chain that he gave to Regina all those years ago "Where did you get it?" Sam asks "Dad found it when he saved her from the Okami, it was her dads. He asked me to keep it until she was old enough to have it" Dean replies "Did she know it was her fathers?" Sam asks, Dean nods "I gave her a whole speech about it, first time we really talked. She confessed that she loved me, I was terrified of being in love because of what happened to mum, but that day I admitted that I loved her too" Dean explains 

Sam gives him a look, he knew they crushed on each other, he knew Regina loved Dean he just didn't understand how deep their love really was "We need to get her back" Dean says handing him the chain "How did she know you would've kept it?" Sam asks "I don't know" Dean replies "How did she know you would've remembered? You know about the chain, you didn't know where it came from" Dean asks "You don't want to know" Sam replies "Humour me" Dean replies getting annoyed, there's a pang of jealousy in his heart, he knew the answer but he wanted to hear it from his brother "She was pissed off and hurt, we were both very drunk. And she poured her heart out to me, about how the guy made her look stupid and she just wanted someone to treat her right for once, she wanted to forget just for a little while" Sam explains 

"so?" Dean asks "And then she kissed me, I was pissed off too because of dad and in that moment neither of us cared. We needed a distraction, from the real world and so we um did" Sam replies "Are you kidding me? You slept together?" Dean asks, his voice raspy and angry "And we regretted it straight away Dean. That's not who we are, our friendship isn't about that" Sam explains, Dean clenches his jaw and throws a single punch making Sam stumble back. Sam touches his lips and looks at his bloody fingers "I deserved that" He admits "You deserve way more for messing with her" Dean replies, he walks away "Dean, I'm sorry okay? I didn't know you loved her then, I thought you had a silly crush because she had grown up nicely" Sam calls, Dean sighs "I couldn't have known because you were so closed, you had all these other women all the time" Sam says 

"I had these other women all the time to cover the hole that she left in me when she walked out with you" Dean yells, they walk into the dungeon 

Regina's P.O.V

A smirk grows on my lips as I hear them fighting over me, the doors open "Hey boys" I say "you slept with him?" Dean yells "Yeah and let me tell you, it was so damn good Dean. He knows how to rattle a headboard like a fucking sailor" I say, Dean frowns "You loved me" he says "and yet I fucked him, trust me it was a night to remember. I mean you guys are very similar in the way you f-" I begin to say but Dean pulls something out of his pocket, and the chain dangles in the air 

Flashback

"I can't believe you stole Johns car, he's going to be furious" I laugh as Dean parks the car in an empty parking lot at the top of a small cliff facing the city "I needed to get you alone, Sam wouldn't get off our back and I can't believe I'm saying this but it made me a little jealous" Dean says "You have nothing to worry about with Sam, he's like my annoying little brother that I can't get enough off" I say "I understand that" Dean chuckles, I turn to face him and his eyes scan my body "you look really nice" he says, I smile "Dean you need to stop talking to me like this, you know how I feel about you. And you complimenting me, it just makes it harder" I say "I have something for you, dad gave me this to give to you when you were old enough and in about two minutes you turn 18" Dean says, I nod 

He pulls a silver chain out of his pocket, I frown "A chain?" I chuckle "It was your fathers, dad found it when he saved you and thought you should have it when you were old enough to understand what happened that night, he gave me this a year ago. He thought I should be the one to give it to you" Dean says "Why should it be you and now Sam?" I ask curiously "Because he knew that I was falling in love with you then and he knew I would still love you now" Dean says, my eyes widen "You love me back?" I ask "Of course I do" Dean says, he looks at his watch 

"Happy Birthday Gigi" Dean whispers, he cups my face with his hand and kisses me passionately

I gasp "The chain" I whisper, my eyes clouding with tears "Oh no" I whimper remembering everything that has happened in the past couple of months, remembering the things I said to Sam. Oh my god Kevin "Gigi?" Dean asks using a nickname he hasn't used since we were kids "Yeah" I whisper
