Chapter 33

I wake up with the sound of my phone ringing constantly "Answer the damn phone" Dean groans from his bed, I peek my head out of the covers and look at my phone. A name I haven't seen in months shows up on my phone 'Jenni West' I get up and go outside picking up the phone "Jenni?" I ask "Reg" She whispers through tears "Reggie the vampires, they're back to get me. Please I need your help" She cries "Where are you?" I'm a motel just outside of Stanford, you'll be able to find me if you just focus. But I need you here, they're looking for me and Ash. Ash is still alive" She continues to sob into the phone

"Jenni, I need you to stay instead okay? Lock the doors, close all the windows. You need to stay quiet. I am leaving today I should be there at some point between today and tomorrow morning. Don't answer the phone not even if it's me" I say "Come quick" She whispers and hangs up, I go back inside and start packing my things. The boys wake up in the process "Where are you going?" Sam asks standing up "I have a uh, personal case in Stanford. A friend of mine is in serious danger, you guys keep looking into that Elkins thing in Colorado. I will meet you guys when I can" I say, I grab a few machetes and stuff them in my bag

"Alone? Absolutely not" Sam says, I drop my bag and go over to him "I saved this girl, the night that they turned me. I promised her that she could call me if anything went bump in the night, apparently, I didn't finish off the whole nest because now they are back to kill her and I am strong enough to help them. I need to go and you need to find Elkins" I say "So. I'm going to know and I will keep you updated and you do the same" I say kissing his cheek, I walk over to Dean who looks confused and kiss his cheek too "Don't die while I'm away" I plead "Stay safe" Dean says, I nod and walk off

In between here and Stanford, I compel myself a car and keep driving until I can find Jenni's scent. And like she said, just outside Stanford on a dusty motel. I walk in sniffing around until I find the room, I pick the lock quietly and walk in "Jen?" I whisper while locking the door behind me, she crawls out of the walk in closet tears streaming down her face, i run to her noticing the huge slash she has on her waits "oh god" I say biting into my wrist and offering it to her "no" she says looking into my eyes "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. They have my dad" She croaks out, I frown "I loved you, I always did and i- I never stopped" Jenni cries, she rests a bloody hand on my cheek and my eyes fill with tears "are they here?" I ask, she nods "I'm ready to go Reg" she cries "I loved you too Jen" I say kissing her lips softly, I pull away and rest my forehead to hers and I hear her heart stop beating. I hold her close to me and cry into her lifeless body

"I knew you would come" I hear Ash say, I close Jennis eyes and pick her up laying her comfortably on the bed "I'm here Ash, you can let her father go" I say "oh he's been dead for days" Ash replies smiling proudly "how are you still alive?" I ask "you see, I have a few tricks of my own. Some have an Angel on their shoulder and I had a demon, I'm sure you remember Alastair?" Ash asks "the yellow eyed demon? He brought you back? Why?" I ask, my eyes widen "so you could get me away from Sam and Dean" I realise "We can't really have someone with healing powers next to them now can we? That will just ruin the plan. When we turned you we were sure John would've killed you in a heartbeat" ash replies "look how that turned out" I say with a smile, Ash comes closer to me "you look beautiful, even more beautiful than you did as a human" he says resting his hand on my cheek, I move away "don't you dare" I say grabbing his wrist "I killed you once, I'll kill you again" I threaten, he smiles

I can tell that he's getting serious so I throw the first punch and we break into a fight, Ash throws me onto a dresser and I fall to the floor groaning at the broken glass in my back but I get to my feet anyways "you're stronger" I admit with a nod, I speed to him and kick him backwards into the wall before slamming my hand into his chest grabbing onto his heart "but I'm a fucking hunter and you ain't got shit on me" I growl vamping out, he lets out a small pained laugh "they do" he croaks out, I look back and another vampire speed to me and everything goes black

When I wake up, my vision is blurry and I'm hanging from the ceiling with vervain soaked bear traps holding me up just above the floor. I try to look around and see an IV also in my arm, it burns and I know they're injecting me with vervain and probably deadman's blood considering the colour of the bag "you're awake" Ash says coming in, I struggle to look up at him but do so anyways "they'll find me" I croak out "and they will kill you all" I continue, I cough and Ash smiles at me again "I'm sure they have a lot on their plate right now sweetheart" Ash replies "but in the meantime why don't we have some fun" Ash says, he brings out a knife before lifting up my shirt and carving

My screams echo through the place
