Chapter 78

Dean and I check out of the motel and go back to that alley way an hour early to way for Sam and Ajay "do you think they'll be here on time?" I ask, I look at Dean who's got his arms crossed over his chest but is sleeping, snoring softly. I chuckle and turn back around watching for any sign of Sam. I can smell something from a few meters away, so I get out of the car slowly and quietly before walking towards the smell. Ajay is laying dead behind his car, I gasp and my hand slaps against my mouth "no no no" I say dropping to my knees and shaking Ajay but it's useless

*swoosh*

I jump to my feet hissing at the woman in front of me, smiles "there's no need to hiss. I am Naomi, I am a warrior from heaven. The reason why Castiel and your vampire friend is walking this earth right now" she says "you're the reason Cas and Benny are free?" I ask, she nods "and what was the catch?" I ask, she smiles "he will tell you soon enough, we need that tablet. And I see that you've been stuck in a predicament with your friends ticket out of hell" Naomi says "how do you know about that?" I ask "I know a lot of things, one of them being that Ajay's secret way into hell is through purgatory. And now that Sams ride is out of service-" she begins saying "Sam is stuck there" I finish for her, she nods "I'll be contacting soon" Naomi disappears. I sigh and walk to the impala "wake up" I say slapping Dean's shoulder, he jumps up surprised "we have an issue" I say faking a smile

"Of course we do" he complains, I explain the conversation I just had with Naomi to Dean and he pinched the bridge of his nose "you know what we have to do right?" I ask "I am not killing you again" Dean replies "Dean, we have no other way. I know purgatory, I know the way out of there and I know that Sam can drag me right out. Sam can pull Bobbys soul out by storing him in his forearm, and we set him free. We all win" I say "except you'll be sent to purgatory again, you hate that place" Dean says I turn around to face him "yeah well I love you and I love Sam. We have to do this Dean" I say grabbing his hand, Dean sighs and pulls me closer to him before kissing me "you better get your ass back on this side of the earth" Dean says, I nod "of course, you can't get rid of me that easily big boy" I say, he smiles

Dean goes into the trunk and gets a stake, the same stake that killed me three years ago "you kept it?" I ask "I couldn't get myself to throw it out" Dean admits, we get back into the car and I lead his hand towards my chest and rest the pointy end of the stake against me, Dean rests his hand at the back of my head and rests out foreheads together "I love you, okay?" Dean whispers, I look into his beautiful green eyes as the stake pierced my heart

PURGATORY

I wake up gasping and look down at my chest at the stain of blood on my white t-shirt under my flannel. I get up to my feet and start tracking Sam

I run to them "oh good you're alive" I say swallowing hard, my eyes meet Bobbys and I walk to him pulling him into a hug "you cranky old man, I missed you" I say, Bobby wraps his arms around me tightly before pushing me away "what the hell are you doing here you idjit?" Bobby asks "yeah I want to ask you the same thing" Sam says "Crowley killed Ajay, I am here to get you guys out of here the same way Dean and I did" I say resting my hand on my hips "you're an idiot" Sam says "yeah yeah, the shit I do for you Winchesters will get me permanently killed one day" I say walking off, Sam chuckles and they follow me through the woods "you really survived down here for three years alone?" Bobby asks "I wasn't alone, I had a friend here made it a little bit easier" I say "a friend?" Bobby asks "yeah he's a vampire, saved my ass" I reply "Vampire? Are you kidding me?" Bobby asks

I look at him both eyebrows raised "right" he says remembering what I am too. We stand at the top of a hill "this is the place?" Sam asks, I nod "there will be a flash of light and then we will get pulled through, Dean will be on the other side waiting for us" I nod "here this is the incantation" I say giving Sam a piece of paper, we looks at Bobby "I'm not saying goodbye again, I've said it already. To both of you" Bobby says "it was good seeing you one last time old man" I say tapping his shoulder, Sam slices down his forearm and says the incantation. Bobbys soul floats up and into Sams arm in a flash of light, Sam is groaning as the flash of light portal appears, Sam grabs my hand tightly and we are pulled through. Once we're out I fall to the floor coughing "Reggie?" Sam asks grabbing my shoulder, I groan and Dean runs to us "what the hell happened?" Dean asks, Sam is just as confused "just do it, set Bobby free" I say waving them away

I cough into my hand and see blood "Hello, boys. Bobby Singer – I'd know you anywhere." Crowley says "Let him go, Crowley. He doesn't belong in Hell." Dean replies, I look up from the floor "oh come on" I groan "He does if I say he does. He's inflicted untold damage on my kind. From where I sit, actually, Hell's too good for him." Crowley adds, Sam and Dean rush to him and he flicks his hand throwing all off us against a tree and pinning us there "you mother fucker" I say "you don't look too good" Crowley says "bite me" I reply, he smiles. There's a flash and Naomi is standing in between us and Crowley "oh come on" Crowley complains "Let me see if I've interpreted the situation correctly. The Winchesters have freed an innocent from Hell, to which you are wrongfully trying to return it." Naomi says, she sounds too calm

"Siding with them, Naomi? You don't know those two. Before they're done, we'll both be locked away." Crowley states "I'm just hoping they lock you away, dear. The rest I'll figure out." Naomi replies "Bureaucrat. You're fighting outside your weight class." Crowley adds "Don't call me a bureaucrat."Naomi extends her hand towards Crowley, her eyes and hand shining with angel power. Crowley disappears. We plummet to the ground. Naomi raises her hand upwards, Bobbys soul shoots up into the sky, to heaven. She looks at me "I told you you could trust me." She says, she comes closer to me and touches my forehead, I instantly stop coughing "what did you do to me?" I ask confused "I made your biggest wish come true" she disappears, Sam and Dean help me to my feet "what the hell was that about?" Sam asks "do the trial" I say changing subject

Sam pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket "Kah-nuh-ahm-dahr" Sam grabs his right hand, falls to his knees in agony. His hand looks like it's burning on the inside, he makes a fist as the burning light fades "Sam? What? What?! Talk to me! What?!" Dean grabs Sam's shoulder "It's okay! It's okay! It's okay. I'm fine. It's done. It's done." Sam replies
