Starry Skies

"Congratulations Sky!" I exclaimed while looking at the skies above us when we reached the top of the ferris wheel. If it wasn't obvious yet, they won the game. Nasungkit ng team ang trophy. 

After the game, after awarding and picture taking, Sky went straight to me and asked me to celebrate with him. That was actually my plan all along, whether they won or not I'll treat him kahit sobrang mura lang. I was just going to treat him in Mang Inasal dahil yun lang ang kaya ng budget ko, pinag ipunan ko 'to kahit papaano sa loob ng apat na araw. 

May celebration ang team nila pero hindi siya sumama dahil gusto nyang kaming dalawa ang mag celebrate. I didn't ask him about what happened earlier with Cassandra, I don't want to kill the vibes though. Hangga't maaari ay ayaw ko munang isipin ang sakit na naiipon sa loob ko, kahit ngayon lang, tatakasan ko muna. 

Ngayon ay nandito kami sa Star City, this is our  one of a kind bonding. Kapag may mga celebration kaming dalawa ay ito ang takbuhan namin. This is where we escaped from our lives, kapag nandito kami ay nawawala lahat ng problema ko. Star City will always be my favorite. 

Favorite place with my favorite person. 

"Thank you, Estella"  He smiled, panandalian ko siyang nilingon at muling tumingin sa mga ulap na para bang kaya na naming abutin pero hindi naman talaga. 

Sa pangalawang pag taas namin sa tuktok ng ferris wheel ay napatingin ako sa kalangitan, madilim na rin at kitang-kita namin ang mga bituin sa langit. 

"Look at the skies, Sky! " I chuckled, his name suits the night vibe. Sinipat ko ang mga bituin, iniunat ang kamay habang nakapikit ang kaliwang mata. 

"Look at the stars, Estella. That's you" It's definitely me.

The Latin girl's name Estella means star, and it derives from the word stella.

"You're the landmarks of the universe,"  he added, and we're still looking up at the starry sky. 

"Watch the stars. Look at their beauty, and in that beauty, you can see yourself."  My mind was full of positive thoughts right at this moment. I was just silently observing the starry skies above. 

"You're my star, and I am your sky. You are the brightest star in my sky"  Tama ka na Sky, nakahanap ka na ng totoong bituin. Those words are his favorite lines whenever we're talking about skies and stars. I smiled bitterly instead of a genuine smile, it feels different now knowing the fact that everything between us after this wonderful night will completely change. 

Erase ang drama Estella!

"Just look up, we are both under the same starry sky. This won't last forever, don't miss the moment" I said, and I hate the fact that my tears were slowly forming inside my eyes. 

"When the sky is at its darkest, a star shines the brightest. I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars." English major ako pero nasakit ang ulo ko sa mga pinag sasasabi nitong lalaking ito. 

"That's you Estella" Turo niya sa bituin na sa tingin ko ay pinakamalaki at pinaka maliwanag. 

"Ano yung star na yun?" When it comes to this matter, Sky is the best. He knows almost everything about the stars. Observing constellations is his favorite thing to do. 

"UY Scuti, the biggest star"  he answered, nangunot pa ang noo ko. Akala ko ay araw ang biggest? Gago third year na ako tapos mali ang alam ko? Hoy! Nakakahiya naman! Kolehiyo na ako! Konting kembot na lamang ay gagraduate na tapos mali ang alam ko?!
