"You're too fond of pushing me away"

I gulped the lamp on my throat when I heard him utter that. His face was buried on my neck. We were talking about us. Kiel fell asleep in his arms earlier, napagod sa paglalaro nilang dalawa. After he tucked Kiel on the bed. I asked him for a serious talk.

Nasa sofa kami, sinabi ko sa kanya na hindi niya naman kailangang gawin lahat ng ginagawa niya sa amin ni Kiel dahil pwede silang maging masaya ni Diana. I don't know what to do, I'm scared, takot na takot ako.

I tightly closed my eyes before I opened my mouth to talk. "Sorry, I'm scared, Sky. So scared. I don't want Diana to hate me, but I want you mine too. I don't know anymore. She helped me a lot while I was being eaten by the dark. How heartless I could be if I hurt her because of a man"

"I'm not just a man, Estella. I was your best friend, your boyfriend, and I am still your man. You can't just say that as if I am no one. I'm not just a random man. Aren't you tired of pushing me away?" Humina ang boses niya sa huling sinabi.

"Limang taon na ang nasayang natin"

"I k-know, Of course I know. Sorry." Dinala ko sa tapat ng aking bibig ang kamay niya at hinalikan. "I'll tell her pero hindi ko pa kaya. Kaunting oras pa" I added.

He lifted his head up and stared at me for a moment. Umayos siya ng upo at hinawakan ang kamay ko. Marahan niya itong hinaplos habang hindi inaalis ang titig sa akin.

"Do you love me?" He seriously asked.

Kahit paulit-ulit ko ng nasabi na siya pa rin ay iba kapag ganito kaming kalapit sa isa't-isa. Isa pa ay nakakalunod ang mga tsokolateng mata niya. Para akong natutunaw sa titig niya to the point that I couldn't even open my mouth to respond. My gaze landed on his natural red lips. It's wet and it's making me want to taste it again.

His offer is kinda tempting me. I unconsciously bit my lower lip and my grip on his palm tightened. Bumaba rin ang tingin niya sa labi ko kaya naman inalis ko ang pagkakakagat doon at binasa gamit ang dila ko.

He shook his head and asked me again.
"Estella, do you still love me? Do you still see your future with me? Can you imagine me in front of the altar while you're walking down the aisle?"

"Y-yes" mabilis akong nag iwas ng tingin. Bente otso na ako maya-maya pa pero nahihiya pa rin ako sa kanya sa ganitong bagay! How cliche!
