"What motivates you to conduct your study?" My heart has been beating violently the moment I stand here, right in front of the panelists. While presenting earlier, my whole body was trembling.

Gusto kong palakpakan ang sarili dahil dire-diretso kong naideliver ang sagot at hindi man lang ako nautal. Napahinga ako ng malalim nang makita kong nagkatinginan ang mga panelists at ngumiti bago inaral ang hard copy ng study ko na nasa table nila.

Kabadong-kabado ako habang patuloy ang pagbato nila ng mga katanungan sa akin. I'm so proud of myself because I successfully answered their questions. Ang laking tulong ng ginawa naming pagpapractice ni Lyra.

Kahapon pa siya natapos, and as expected, she ace it! She's so good, napanood ko kasi ang video niya habang nagdedefense siya at inaral ko kung paano niya sinagot lahat ng tanong ng panelists at natutuwa ako dahil na apply ko siya sa defense ko ngayon.

"Do you think your study deserves to get approved right at this moment?" Kailangan ay mayroon akong lakas ng loob.

That's another thing I'd learnt from Ly. She told me na kung ang question ng panelists ay hindi naman open-ended questions ay huwag ko daw sayangin ang laway sa pagpapaliwanag dahil kung gusto daw ng mga ito ng explanation ay sila na mismo ang magbabato ng follow-up questions.

"Congratulations then" Ngumiti ang dean. Halos tumalon ang puso ko sa tuwa dahil sa narinig. Ang sarap mag diwang! Ililibre ko mamaya si Lyra! Oh my god! Sobrang nakakatuwa.

"T-thank you, thank you po" natawa ang panelists dahil ngayon lang nahalata ang pangangatog ko.
