You have a lot to answer

It's been a month since I have started maintaining distance from Ishan,a month and fifteen days to be exact,he has tried to contact me so many times during this phase but I just ignore it although I feel bad for it but it's what's the best for us.

"What is it Aakash, say quickly I am leaving for a meeting"I asked,a phone in my one hand while some files in the other hand.

"Listen quickly we are having a party as it's Aria's birthday and also Ruhaan is going to propose Naira for wedding so be ready at 7:00 will pick you up"Aakash informed from the other side.

"Aakash I am sorry but am really busy you know that right"I  informed.

"Don't lie to me Ruchi I know you are busy with all your new endorsement for Vi Bhaiya but you aren't that busy to miss such an important event "Aakash asked and it was the truth I am currently working for the new endorsements and all but that's not the only reason.

"But"I tried to reason again.

"No If's and but I know you are saying no because Ishan is going to be there but that doesn't mean you will say no to even meet your friends"He shouted a little angry.

"Ok I will come now happy"I said sighing as now I don't  have any other option other than yes.

"Yes very"He replied.

"Ok now bye have a meeting"I  bid bye and cut the call,taking a deep breath I left for her meeting.

The meeting went well even though it was tough to convince the clients but all in all it was a new experience.

I realise that it was almost evening till the time the meeting was over I quickly left for home.

"Bhabhi can you please select a dress for me"I asked as she was sitting having some snacks.

"Sure come"She said getting up.

"Won't you ask why"I asked climbing the stairs.

"There is Aria's birthday celebration party and Ruhan is going to propose Naira right"She asked as I looked at her with my mouth wide open.

"Don't look at me like that I know everything happening around"She replied making me chuckle.

"Here go wear this and then will do you makeup"She pushed me in the washroom as I changed into a beautiful short black dress.

"Wow bhabhi you did a splendid job"I gaped looking at myself in the  mirror,the makeup was just perfect and my hairs looks beautiful in those loose curls.

"Now go quickly Aakash is here"She said as we heard the honk of the car.

I strapped my black heels and made my way downstairs.

"You look so pretty Naira"I gushed as soon as I took in her appearance she was wearing a red knee length dress.

"Look who is commenting you look no less than an angel"She commented

"If your compliments are done Ruchi quickly get in the car we are getting late"Aakash said as I got in the car.

"Someone is very excited for his girlfriend's birthday"Naira and I said in a perfect sync making Aakash scowl.

"Wow the venue is beautiful"I complimented as the venue was decorated beautifully.

The whole room was in the shade of pink,there was a dinning area on one side,on one side there was Aria's birthday decor and one side was covered with a sheet which is where the proposal decor is.

"What kind of friend are you are late for your bestfriends such special occasion"Ruhan whispered in my ear as soon as I entered the venue.

"Shut up be thankful that I am here"I sassed as he glared at me.

Ahana soon came and hugged me as I complimented her she was really looking beautiful in that blue dress.

Soon the birthday song started playing as Ishan brought in Aria, Ishan's hand on her eyes.

She was looking really pretty in that white dress,Ishan was also looking handsome in the black shirt,I stared at him as his whole attention was on Aria.

"Happy Birthday Aria"All of us shouted as soon as Ishan removed his hand from her eyes.

"Thank you everyone"She said with her eyes moist.

"Although I know they are happy tears but don't cry it's your special day"Ishan whiped her tears and hugged.

Next Aakash wished her and hugged her followed by everyone.

"You have a lot to answer"She whispered in my ears as I hugged her and I nodded after breaking the hug.
