After a few minutes of regaining my composure, Hanni and I decided it was time to head back to class. We gathered our things and made our way toward the classroom, hoping that the embarrassment of the lunchtime incident would soon fade away.

As we entered the classroom, I couldn't help but notice the lingering gazes and whispers from our classmates. Word must have spread about what happened during lunch, and I could feel my face turning red with embarrassment. I quickly took my seat in front of Jungwon and tried to avoid eye contact.

The teacher began the lesson, but my mind was still preoccupied with what had transpired earlier. I could feel Jungwon's eyes on me, but I kept my focus on the front of the classroom, determined to ignore the lingering tension between us.

However, as the minutes ticked by, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Jungwon's foot brushed against mine again, and this time, I couldn't ignore it. I turned to him, a mix of confusion and frustration evident on my face.

"What's going on, Jungwon?" I whispered, my voice filled with a hint of annoyance.

He looked at me, his expression sheepish and apologetic. "I'm sorry, Yoonie. I can't seem to control myself. Your scent is still affecting me." His eyes were slightly droopy.

I sighed, realizing that the catnip's influence was still lingering on my hands, even after all the efforts to remove it. "Well, try your best to resist it. We can't let this distract us during class."

He nodded, determination flickering in his eyes. "You're right. I'll do my best."

With that, we turned our attention back to the teacher, trying to focus on the lesson at hand. Throughout the rest of the class, Jungwon made a conscious effort to stay in control, although I could still sense his occasional fidgeting and restlessness.

Finally, the bell rang, signaling the end of the class. I gathered my things and walked out of the classroom with Jungwon by my side. As we made our way down the hallway, I couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and curiosity. The incident with the catnip had certainly brought us closer, but it had also revealed a side of Jungwon I never expected.

I glanced at him, noticing his determined expression as he walked beside me. He seemed to be controlling himself quite well although I would feel him slightly brushing his hand against mine and even sometimes intertwine our fingers together before he would control himself and pull away.

We reached our locker rooms to change into our soccer uniforms, and I noticed that Hanni's locker was right next to mine. It provided a perfect opportunity for some small talk and a brief distraction from the events of the day.

"So, Hanni, any plans for the weekend?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation light.

She smiled and started opening her locker. "Not much, just some studying and maybe catching up on a few shows. What about you?"

I shrugged, hanging my backpack on the hook inside the locker. "Probably the same, but I could use a break from studying. Maybe a movie night or something."

Hanni nodded, pulling out her soccer gear. "Sounds like a plan. We should definitely do that. It'll be a nice way to relax."

I agreed, grabbing my own soccer uniform. "Definitely. It's been a hectic week, and a little downtime would be much appreciated."

As we changed into our uniforms, the conversation continued, providing a sense of normalcy amidst the recent events. We talked about our favorite movies, and upcoming soccer matches, and even shared a few laughs. It was a welcome distraction from the lingering tension between Jungwon and me.

Once we were ready, we headed out to the soccer field for practice. The familiar sounds of the players warming up and the coach's instructions filled the air, turning our focus toward the sport we loved. We joined the team, ready to give our best and leave the events of the day behind us, at least for the duration of practice.

As we ran drills and practiced our skills, the adrenaline and camaraderie of the team began to wash away the tension that had been lingering. I glanced at Jungwon, who seemed more focused and in control than earlier. It was a relief to see him fully engaged in the practice, his mind seemingly free from the influence of the catnip.

Practice flew by, and as we gathered our things to head home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of optimism. The incident with the catnip had caused some unexpected complications, but we managed to push through and find solace in the familiar routine of soccer practice.

As we waved goodbye to our teammates and made our way home, I couldn't help but wonder what other surprises and revelations awaited us on this unpredictable journey. But one thing was certain - together, we would face whatever challenges came our way, supporting each other through it all.
