Blushing, I couldn't help but playfully nudge Jungwon, who was attempting to hide his embarrassment. "See what you've gotten us into?" I whispered a hint of laughter in my voice.
Jungwon's lips curled into a smirk as he looked at our friends, his eyes shining with amusement. "Alright, alright, you had your fun. Now, delete those photos," he said, his tone teasing yet firm.
Our friends exchanged mischievous glances, their smiles widening. Heeseung, always the prankster, held up his phone, displaying the captured photos for everyone to see. "But these are too precious to delete, Jungwon. We need to commemorate the occasion," he teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Jungwon's playful expression turned into a mock pout. He crossed his arms and leaned back in his seat, feigning defeat. "Come on, guys, have mercy. You've tortured us enough," he pleaded, his voice filled with playful protest.
Laughter filled the room, blending with the joyful chatter of our friends. Despite his pleas, Jungwon's words were met with laughter and playful protests, as our friends continued to revel in the captured moments.
Realizing that our friends wouldn't easily give in, I stepped closer to Jungwon, placing a hand on his arm. "They're not gonna stop, at this point just give in," I whispered.
Reluctantly, Jungwon let out a sigh, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "Fine," he conceded, a hint of amusement in his tone. "But remember, payback is a dish best-served cold."
Amidst the laughter and banter, a sense of warmth and camaraderie settled over the room. We all found our places, sinking into the cozy couches and chairs, relishing in the comfort of each other's presence. The room buzzed with conversation and shared stories, the air filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the anticipation of the day ahead.
Sunghoon, unable to resist stirring the pot, leaned forward with a mischievous grin. "So, Ji-yoon, when are you and Jungwon going to make it official? We've all been waiting for you two to start dating."
Sunoo chimed in, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yeah, the chemistry between you two is undeniable. You can't fool us."
I exchanged a glance with Jungwon before speaking. "We really aren't dating you guys," I stated nervously as Jungwon sat there silent.
The room fell momentarily silent as our friends processed the information. Then, Jake burst into laughter, followed by the rest of our friends. "You can't just say you aren't dating when we found Jungwon all up on you in the morning." Jake expressed.
Jay joined in, his voice filled with amusement. "I mean if you guys want to keep it a secret, you guys should try to hide it better.'"
Niki nodded, his laughter subsiding. "They're probably just oblivious to their feelings. They both are stupid." Niki's laughter started once again until Jungwon gave him a deadly glare. "Sorry hyung..." Niki stated as his laughter quickly came to a halt and he looked at his lap nervously.
Heeseung, the prankster, couldn't resist a final jab. "Just remember, when the time comes for you two to start dating, we'll be here to tease you relentlessly."
"Quit it, you're making her uncomfortable." Jungwon let out, his tone serious as he laid against the couch. Everyone sat in silence before slowly reaching another topic.
"Perfect material for Valentine's Day cards, don't you think?" Sunghoon stated, looking at the photo of us on Jake's phone.
Sunoo chimed in, unable to contain his laughter. "Imagine the expressions on their faces when they receive those cards. Priceless!"
Hanni, always quick with a witty remark, added, "Oh, I can already see the embarrassment and blushes. It'll be a Valentine's Day to remember."
Jake raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "I bet they'll be exchanging secret glances, trying to figure out who sent the cards. It'll drive them crazy!"
"And we'll be here, sipping our drinks and enjoying the show. Their faces will be redder than a bouquet of roses." Jay smirked proudly, leaning against the couch.
Niki playfully nudged Heeseung, a playful glimmer in his eyes. "I think we should make this Valentine's Day unforgettable for them. Let's plan something." Niki smirked.
Heeseung smirked, his mind already spinning with mischievous ideas. "Let's make it a day they'll never forget."
Jungwon's playful expression turned into a mock pout. "You've tortured us enough," he pleaded.
"It's all in good fun, Jungwon. Let's embrace the Valentine's Day shenanigans. We'll have plenty of embarrassing stories to tease them about too," I assured him, trying to ease his discomfort.
Reluctantly, Jungwon let out a sigh, giving in to the playful banter.
Laughter filled the room as our friends agreed to his playful warning. The tension eased, and we all settled into the comfortable camaraderie that had brought us together, already anticipating the memorable Valentine's Day that awaited us.
