Creating characters and plots for The Bloodhounds and The Ravens was hard. Some of them haunted me until I couldn't sleep, and it never happened before with the 7 Gold Lifes and ILLICIT.

Writing Clyde and Kayden was easy, but creating Ares, Mason, and Asher was hard. They suffocated me. At first, Ares wouldn't make the cut, but he haunted me at night. He made me want to write to him and Leila. Leila would be a side character to his brother's story in The Ravens, but she wanted a role in her book.

I hated Ares at first because he's not that likable without his friends, and Leila is such a sweetheart that I don't know why these two will match if they end up together, but hey, opposites attract, right?

I hope you can like Ares slowly as I do. He, Mason, and Asher weren't the nicest people in the series, and The Ravens will be far worse than this.

Enjoy :)
