After an hour or so sitting in the sun, I begin to feel my skin burn.
"Should we take a dip?" Harper asks as if she read my mind.
"Yeah I think so." I say as I inspect my skin.
We get up and slowly make our way into the water. Harper goes in an stands up to her waist facing me. I sit in the water with the water just reaching my breasts.
"So tell me more about Blade." I tease wiping the water over my arms.
"Only if you spill the deets on what's going on between you and Daniel." She teases me back.
"Hey!" I splash some water at her.
"There's nothing to spill," I begin.
Daniel's face popping up in my head.
"You know me I never crush over boys but there's just something about him that stirs me within." I explain.
"You crushing on him!" She blurts out.
I feel my cheeks burn.
"I don't know what it is? He is so mysterious and boy, does he have a great body," Harpers face changes and I don't think anything of it. "Of course I like him." I state.
The water around me swooshes as I realise someone is coming up behind me.
My face freezes in a state of terror.
Without even knowing I knew he was standing behind me and heard what I just said.
