Don't be near Mark/ Markhyuck

Part 5

This morning Donghyuck wants to disappear, he wakes up and opens the curtains, but opening it he sees Mark a few meters from him, also opening his.

Their eyes meet and Donghyuck cannot look away. Why this man must look so freaking beautiful and mesmerizing. He curses the whole world for making this man so handsome. Mark gives him a bad look before quickly closing his window.

Donghyuck stays a few seconds without moving, disturbed by what just happened. He'd never acted like this in front of anyone and it's kind of upsetting, this boy isn't even interesting. He gets ready and then goes down for lunch with his mother.

He sees her looking at a picture, and he knows very well what she is looking at, so he doesn't ask questions and eats in silence. They lost a lot during their escape, this picture is all they have left.

Sometimes he misses his grandparents, they were always very nice to him. He wonders if they are still alive. He doesn't think so.

"I'm going to see Jaemin" finally said Donghyuck.

His mother nods and continues to admire the picture. Donghyuck does not have the strengh to look at it, he comes to take his cap and goes out to join his friend. He quickly recognizes the boy with his big dog.

Donghyuck as usual first greets the dog, he squats and passes his hands over the dog's head petting it like it's his dog.

"You're so cute" smiles Haechan " wow how sweet he is! I want to keep him"

"You're not greeting me ? hello? " Jaemin reply with a smile.

Haechan looks up at the other frowning with a look of disgust. It makes Jaemin laugh push slightly the other, making Haechan laugh, and restrains himself from falling. Donghyuck finally gets up and the two begin their walk telling each other their week.

"Hyuck you really have to watch titanic its like a classic," says Jaemin

"I know I have to catch up on a lot of movies"says Haechan thinking about all the movies he still have to watch "I've watched several with Jeno I'm starting to have a good culture"

Haechan sees Jaemin's face close a little at the mention of Jeno. It's discreet, but Jaemin was always bad at hiding his emotions, like Jeno. The two are pretty similar in several points.

"I don't understand why you hang out with him," said Jaemin,"I'm sure you'd have more fun watching those movies with me"

"Jaemin", Haechan warned with his voice "stop"

"Well, you can do what you want afterwards" answers Jaemin.

The two change the subject, Jaemin tells him about his upcoming exams. He is in medical school, he would like to specialize to be a veterinarian. Apparently Jaemin has always wanted to do this since childhood, Haechan believes it, Jaemin always liked to help others. 

Then he is very smart, without exaggerating he thinks that Jaemin is one of the most intelligent person he knows.

He is already in second year of medicine as he is only 19 years old.

Unlike Chenle and Jisung he had the choice for his studies, his family is not really rich, but not poor either. He's in the middle.

Jaemin is very sweet and kind, Haechan laughs well with him. Actually he doesn't know how others can hate someone like Jaemin, it shows that the other is full of good intentions.

Jaemin and Donghyuck are different, but Haechan wouldn't explain why he sees himself in Jaemin. Sometimes they feel like they're the same person.

"Jaemin I wanted to ask you a question" begins Donghyuck

Jaemin take off his dog leash, so that he can run in the park, the two come to sit and Jaemin takes out two sandwiches that he has prepared before. He hands one to Donghyuck who picks it up. Donghyuck waits until the other is finished to speak again.

Jaemin ends up putting his eyes in Donghyuck's, encouraging him to continue, starting his sandwich.

"Who is Mark? "Ask finally Donghyuck

Jaemin stops for a few seconds to move, as if time stopped. His eyes land once again in Donghyuck's, he swallows then Donghyuck sees that he is a little embarrassed and stressed.

He begins to look to the right and left, as trying to escape the gaze of his friend.

"Who told you about him ?" Ask Jaemin

"Tell me first" incist Donghyuck

Jaemin let his sandwich rest on the ground, he takes a quick looks on his dog. Donghyuck looks at his friend's lips pinching. He knows that Jaemin is the only person still in contact with Mark.

"He's Jeno's half-brother" answers Jaemin not really wanting to talk about the other "and he was a very good friend"

Donghyuck raises his eyebrows, as if waiting for more explanation from his friend. It's too short, he wants to know who's Mark, and who is was for Jaemin. He wants to know why no one ever told him about Mark, when he seems to be the source of a lot of things.
