'Donghyuck: Thank you for yesterday. You didn't have to listen to me and reassure me. I still don't know why you did that, especially when you hate me. But thank you.

Mark: I'm going to be difficult to live with when we work together. I'll make your life hell at the first wrong move.

Mark: But I can't scold you for a trauma. If you ever have another crisis, come to me if you want. We may not be on good terms, but I'm here to help you.

Donghyuck: I talked to Jaemin, he plans to see a psychologist. I'm trying to encourage him to go.

Mark: I know, I'm the one who advised him to see one. But I'm glad he decided to listen to me on this.

Donghyuck: You didn't correct me about using formal language, did you give up?

Mark: You're talkative today. Go get ready for Jaehyun instead.

Donghyuck: I'll take that as a yes hehe.

Mark: If you want, but you'll have to address me formally during missions. Jayden will be suspicous if you don't call me Lee

Mark: And please, next time, be gentler with Jaemin. I don't really like seeing him cry so much; you crossed the line.'

Donghyuck doesn't respond anymore, sighing as he reads the last sentence. In hindsight, he regrets belittling the other person so much when he had started opening up. But Donghyuck didn't like the Jaemin actions at all.

He tries not to think about it anymore. Now, he wonders why Jeno and Mark had fought. He noticed a slight bruise on Mark's temple, indicating that Jeno had hit him a few times.

He can't understand about what the two of them could have argued about, despite asking Jeno questions. Jeno refused to tell him, saying it was complicated between them and that the story dated back several years, and they never really got along since then.

Jeno mentioned that Johnny usually managed conflicts, but since he's rarely around now, he can't. None of the family members feel reassured when Mark comes home in the evening with his fists slightly bloodied.

Everyone knows he's involved in shady stuff, but no one says it out loud.

What disturbs Donghyuck is that deep down, Mark seems to have an attachment to them. Even though Jeno despises him and refuses to even say his name, Mark still calls Jeno his brother.

"'Stop dreaming," Chenle says, "you said you wanted to tell us something."

Oh right.

Since unfortunately the two nuisances decided to butt in at Jaehyun's party, he has to tell them. Usually, the two of them can't attend parties; they're still underage, and above all, they're not old enough to drink (they still aren't). This is the first time they're attending such a party.

They're only here because it's Jisung's brother, and Jaehyun found himself forced to bring them along, not wanting to put his brother out on the street. Plus, Jaehyun thinks it might be a way to get closer to his little brother, whom he doesn't really know after all.

Returning to Chenle's statement, Donghyuck wanted to inform them that he likes men. Because tonight, they might see Donghyuck having a good time with Jisung's brother.

He doesn't know how to say it; it was natural with Jeno, with Johnny too. With Jaemin, he didn't have to tell him because of everything that happened with Mark. But with them, it's different. They're younger; they come from a family where this kind of thing is highly frowned upon.
