"He cured her?" Emma heard Damon's voice getting loud and combative, making her rush down the stairs even faster.

Yesterday had been like a dream, and today, she was right back in the thick of some sort of witches verses Travelers war.

She entered the foyer to see Damon and Stefan looking to Tyler for answers to their questions. Behind them, Luke, had been doing some sort of location spell; but he had stopped to pay attention to the current issue.

"Yeah, he cured her to death," Tyler began to explain as Emma stepped up next to Damon, "the doppelgänger blood took away the vampirism, but left her in the state that she was in right before she turned."

"The state of being dead," Stefan sighed in frustration, "got it."

"So if it kills vampires, what does the spell mean for witches?" Luke asked as he stood, suddenly very invested in the conversation.

"No one cares," Damon jeered, earning him a hard elbow to the ribs from Emma, he grunted before looking back at Tyler, "continue."

Tyler crossed his arms, "The point is they feel if they can get rid of all magic they'll break some lame-ass witch curse."

"Markos said they can't settle anywhere without evoking earthquakes or hell-fire, but they break that curse, and they just move right on into Mystic Falls," Damon stepped over to his bar and started making himself a drink.

Stefan rubbed his face before letting his hand fall, "And come after Elena and I today, as in now."

"Oh, well. Markos had a good week or two in the land of the living," Damon toasted himself before taking a drink, "now where is he so I can kill him?"

"No idea," Tyler shrugged, "they were moving camp when I got out."

"Got out?" Emma looked at Tyler confused.

Tyler nodded, "They put a passenger in me, but I don't think they accounted for the fact that I can break him more than he could ever break me."

"Well," Damon interjected, "it's a good thing our friend Luke here is an alleged genius with locator spells. Shouldn't be too hard to find a whole group of people."

Luke shook his head, "Travelers are always moving. They are impossible to track. They'll find Stefan and Elena long before we can find them."

"What about one of those locator blocking spell things?" Damon seemed proud of himself for his quick thinking, "that easy enough for you?"

"If I can use Emma to boost the spell," Luke shrugged.

Emma stepped away from Luke and behind Damon, Luke should have no idea that she was a Phoenix, "What exactly makes you think I would boost the spell?"

"Do you not realize how powerful you are?" Luke looked at her confused, "You manifest so much energy it's almost impossible to miss you. Besides, Liv told me."

"Figures," Emma thought about Katie and how useless it was trying to keep anything from her, no secrets among siblings.

"So? Help from an almighty Phoenix?" Luke offered his hand to her so he could start the spell.

Emma shook her head and stepped closer to Damon. She thought it was subtle, but Damon put his arm around her.

"Then I need both doppelgängers to be in the same place," Luke explained.

"Perfect," Damon looked at Tyler to begin relaying instructions, "you avoid the entire Czech language, figure out how to find Markos."

"How in the hell am I supposed to do that?" Tyler scoffed.
