REMINISCING MY AGONY
I’m fixing myself, preparing for my graduation day. I was too busy memorizing my valedictorian speech that I forgot to prepare as quick as what I usually do.
Being a valedictorian is just a bonus for me. I didn’t wish to graduate in high school with flying colors. Ayos na sa akin ang maka-graduate at mahawakan ang bunga ng aking pagsusunog kilay, at ang suporta at sakripisyo ng aking ama at ina.
This is not the end, it’s just the path I fulfilled going to the most exciting part of my life in reaching my dreams.
Kahit gaano pa man kahirap ang pagdaraan ko sa paglalakbay para sa pag-abot ng aking mga pangarap ay nakahanda ako. I’m always ready to take flight and fly high no matter how hard it is. I’m excited to witness and experience where will this journey brought me.
All my achievements, I dedicated it all to my beloved parents, to God, and of course to my girlfriend.
When I'm done fixing myself, I smiled infront of my mirror, “Ang guwapo mo talaga, Dave Andrie Galvez!”
Sinipat ko pa ang sarili ko saka tuluyang lumabas sa aking kuwarto.
“Mama, mauuna na po ako sa school. Sumunod na lang po kayo,” aniko. Hindi pa kasi nag-aayos si Mama. Maaga pa naman kasi.
Ala una pa lang naman ng hapon. Alas tres pa ang simula ng graduation ceremony. Kung ako lang ang masusunod ay hindi pa ako pupunta ng school pero baka ano pa ang masabi ng mga kaibigan ko. Balak kasi nilang kumuha ng litrato namin gayong puwede naman iyong gawin pagkatapos ng seremonya ng aming pagtatapos. Excited sila masyado. Gusto raw nila na may mga litrato kami bago pa man ang seremonya, kaya labag sa loob na napapunta ako nang maaga.
Nang makarating ako sa aming eskuwelahan, sa gate pa lang ay kita ko na ang aking mga kaibigan.
The girls wearing a different color of dress as what stated on the dress code that our adviser discussed with us after their meeting with our parents. One of my boy best friends wearing white polo shirt and the two were longsleeve, of course based on the dress code. While me, I’m just wearing white polo paired up of a black slack and shoes. It’s perfectly fit on me. I look more handsome and hot. It’s obvious that I’m obsessed in black.
“Iba talaga ang valedictorian. Ang astig ng datingan. Makakabingwit na naman ng mga chix. Bigyan mo naman kami ng laban, dre!” ani Andrew. I just chuckled.
“Chix na hindi naman niya papansinin. We all knew that our friend was head over heals to his beloved girlfriend,” sansala naman ni Marcus, “buti pa kung sa akin sila lalapit. Wala silang sayang sa akin.”
“Malamang, babaero ka eh!” ani Jessica. Inirapan pa nito si Marcus.
“By the way, nasa’n pala ang girlfriend mo, Dave?” Binalingan ko si Ayessa dahil sa tanong nito.
