Chapter 78

Luna Anna walked out of the hospital to find Alpha Aston standing next to his car in front of the hospital's entrance.

With his charming smile, Alpha Aston opens the door for Luna Anna. From exhaustion, Luna Anna sits inside without asking any questions. She notices a gift in front of her as soon as she settles down.

She takes the gift in her hand as Alpha Aston sits in the driver's seat. He smiled and said,
" You will love it,"

" It's for me? " Luna Anna asked an unexpected expression on her face making Alpha Aston's heartbeat go faster.

Luna Anna ripped open the gift before Alpha Aston could sarcastically say to her previous question.

She takes out the clear liquid bottle of perfume with a doubtful look and looks at Alpha Aston.

" It isn't a fart or disgusting smell of perfume?" She questioned suspiciously.

" Come on, Anna. I can't find your natural scent in perfume so be assured the smell is good," Alpha Aston muttered as he drove out of the hospital gate.

Luna Anna rolls her eyes and sprays on her left wrist. Alpha Aston glances at Luna Anna as she smells the perfume.

As an instinct, Luna Anna moans smelling forest-scented perfume making Alpha Aston tighten his grip on the steering wheel.

" Why did you buy this for me?" Luna Anna asked placing the bottle inside the box.

" It's the same answer as usual, Anna," Alpha Aston responded looking at the road.

" Where are we going?" Luna Anna asked noticing the route as she was busy on the gift.

" I'm taking you on a date," Alpha Aston announced with a smirk.

" Aston, we can't go on dates when the situation is bad," Luna Anna blurt out in horror.

Alpha Aston looked at his mate and explained to her,

" We don't know what will happen so it's better to do than regret later. You would always say something like that,"

" I know... That was before I took my responsibilities... You better take me somewhere nice," Luna Anna warned with narrow eyes to her mate.

" Don't worry, the sewage is an amazing location for our first date," Alpha Aston mocked.

" Is that why you gifted me this perfume so I don't get overwhelmed with the smell where you belong," Luna Anna taunted.

" You are so close to crossing the line, Anna," Alpha Aston growls in joke making Luna Anna respond.

" What will do you then? I'm a Luna now so you can't throw me to cell,"

" I have my ways to punish you," Alpha Aston muttered looking at Luna Anna. Imagining her face cheeks, lip flush in red and glowing smile on her face.

Noticing his forest-green eyes with lust, Luna Anna couldn't help but gulp with shyness. Alpha Aston looks back at the road with a victory smile.

With a turn, Alpha Aston stops the car in front of the cafe. Luna Anna quickly noticed Alpha Aston and her bikes parked.

" Why are our bikes here?" Luna Anna questions looking at Alpha Aston who smugly responds,
" It's a part of our date,"

Alpha Aston pulls Luna Anna by the waist and takes her to the empty decorated cafe. The whole area was filled with black roses and candles.

He takes her to the table in the middle. Pulling chair for Luna Anna, who had a surprise look first which was replaced by a proud look.

After sitting on the chair, Alpha Aston claps making two waiters with trays walk out of the kitchen.

One waiter placed two plates of ribs for Luna Anna and Alpha Aston respectively. Then the other waiter filled the glasses with soft drinks.

Alpha Aston looks at Luna Anna's reaction as she takes the first bite. Her eyes widened as she recognised the taste and questioned with amazement,

" Is this from Devil's Tango?" 

" Yes, you loved the food there so I brought Devil's Tango here," Alpha Aston said as he was about to take his first bite.

" I missed this since that night. Mom didn't let me go to the human territory after that night... Till Pops let me stay at Noah's place," Luna Anna mumbled with a mouth full avoiding to think about two humans whose chest was craved with Ava and her name.

" You can have this anytime now since the chief who cooked there... He is a member now and owns this cafe," Alpha Aston announced as he ate a piece of rib.

" Is there your hand in that he become a member?" Luna Anna asked with a thoughtful expression.

" Anything for you, Anna," Alpha Aston promised with a genuine smile softening Luna Anna's heart.

" You have really changed," Luna Anna commented and explained,

" It's not just about me... It's like you have started to truly appreciate and act grateful for everything. You have also become a great Alpha,"

Alpha Aston was taken back and with a doubtful look, he asked,

" What made you think that?"

" Checking Sophia at the hospital... The hospital chief told me that you have saved a lot of women and men standing against domestic violence, bullying, and drugs. You used to say never get involved in members' private life. And we used to argue a lot on that,"

With an agreed nod, Alpha Aston explains,
" That was what Dad taught me. I have been learning to analyse the teachings and choosing to implement what I find right. Also, Pop is guiding me as well,"

Then they both eat their ribs in peaceful silence and Alpha Aston leans back frowning.

" What happened?" Luna Anna asked in alert as she recognised the remembered expression of Alpha Aston.

" I should have recorded when you gave a beautiful speech praising me. That could have been a great ' I told you so' video," Alpha Aston answered with regret.

" That's too bad because I won't say it again," Luna Anna acted regretfully and felt the vibration coming from her phone.

She checked the message Gamma Chloe sent.

Chloe; Are you coming with us to the movie?

Luna Anna frowned as she remembered Alice's plan to for them hang out with her mate, Brad for the first time.

Anna; Can't come.

Anna; Aston took me on a surprise date.

Chloe; That's cute. I will tell Alice and she won't get pissed.

After completing their meal, Alpha Aston placed Luna Anna's bike key on the table challenging,

" The winner will order the loser for a whole day and there are no rules,"

Luna Anna's face brightened up and claimed,

" This is the best date ever,"
