Luna Anna changed her sleeping position countless times. Still, she wasn't been able to sleep as she kept replaying the conversation she had with the Royal member, Nina.
Turning her side, Luna Anna looks at her sleeping twin. Ava didn't speak to anyone except Alpha Aston after she read her letter.
Looking up at the ceiling, Luna Anna thought about Alpha Aston for a while. She quickly stepped out of bed and went to the bathroom for a wash.
With strong determination, Luna Anna wore a silk and fitted pyjama set of hers. She goes out of her room closing the door silently.
As she gets closer to Alpha Aston's room. Her heart beats faster and her steps slowly turn into hesitation.
Taking a deep breath, Luna Anna knocks on the door. When she didn't receive any answer, she knocked on the door harder and continued till it was open.
" Anna, are you okay?" Alpha Aston asked looking at Luna Anna's fitted pyjama.
" Let's mate," Luna Anna announced making Alpha Aston bark in shock.
" What?"
" I want to mate, Aston," Luna Anna repeated her wish crossing her arms and legs in nervousnessly.
Alpha Aston looked at Luna Anna speechlessly and narrowed his eyes.
" What's bothering you?" He asked.
" That's what you are asking when I clearly stated I want to sleep with you," Luna Anna snorted in disappointment.
" I can feel your emotion. You are scared, Anna," Alpha Aston explained and realised the Queen and other royals' rooms were next to his. So he leans back gesturing Luna Anna to come inside.
With a victory smile, Luna Anna walked inside the room. Alpha Aston locks the door and repeats his question,
" Tell me, what's bothering you?"
" The royal... The one with light brown eyes... She is a seer and she saw I was killed by Ace and Sebastian," Luna Anna stammered avoiding looking at Alpha Aston's eye.
Alpha Aston holds Luna Anna's face and comforts her by promising,
" I will kill them with my own hands so you will live,"
Luna Anna's heart beat faster than before and she hugged him saying,
" I know... It's just I don't want any regret after the war, Aston,"
" So you are sure about sleeping with me?" Alpha Aston pulled away and asked in a serious tone looking at Luna Anna. While his wolf spirit is howling and tempted to take control to mate.
" Yes," As soon as Luna Anna answered Alpha Aston kissed her.
For the first time, Luna Anna let Alpha Aston take control and let her relax as he cherished her body for the first time.
With heavy breathing, Luna Anna wraps her arm across Alpha Aston's torso while he pulls her by the waist and plays with her red hair.
" You should have seduced me first," Luna Anna said.
" I wanted your heart, not your body," Alpha Aston explained looking at the glowing face of his mate.
" Well, I would have fallen anyway. But we could have mated a lot by now if you seduce me," Luna Anna shrugged her shoulder lazily.
" As if you could have let me touch you," Alpha Aston scoffed making Luna Anna agree with him and they chuckled.
" You are moving here the first thing in the morning, " Alpha Aston mumbled kissing Luna Anna's forehead.
" I'm only doing this to mate and nothing else," Luna Anna mockingly pointed out.
" Fine by me," Alpha Aston muttered and noticed the tiredness in Luna Anna's eyes.
He stands up to open the side drawer and pulls out a packet of pills. He handed out the pills to Luna Anna explaining to her,
" This will give you strength for the whole night,"
" Why do you have this?" Luna Anna asked even though she was tempted to take them.
" Even with a wolf, it's hard to keep up with work without getting much sleep," Alpha Aston answered honestly.
" Promise me you won't take any pills and have a proper sleeping schedule, " Luna Anna raised her palm out which Alpha Aston quickly held and promised.
" You have my word," Alpha Aston then handed the water bottle encouraging her,
" Take the pill if you don't want to sleep,"
With a smirk, Luna Anna takes one pill and drinks the water. They waited for five minutes to let the pill work and continued to mate for the whole night.
Alpha Aston's alarm rings, making the newly mated couple growl in sleepiness. Alpha Aston canceled the alarm but he didn't fall asleep like Luna Anna did.
Alpha Aston looked at his sleeping mate in affection and after giving a kiss on the cheek. He got off the bed to take a shower.
When he come out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around his waist. Luna Anna stretches her arms out in sleepiness.
" Good morning," Alpha Aston greeted with a smile enjoying Luna Anna's messy hair and sleepy face.
" I'm going back to sleep," Luna Anna grumpy mumbled before throwing her head back to the pillow to sleep.
Alpha Aston chuckled and went to his walk-in closet to get ready. He pulled out his combat suit which had the Howler Pack's logo printed. Then Alpha Aston wears a special charm chain and bracelet that has his title and name carved in it. This is a part of identifying any dead body in the war.
Walking out of the walk-in closet, Alpha Aston looked at his sleeping mate in pain and fear. Thinking of the worst scene, Alpha Aston walks to Luna Anna and kisses her face.
" Anna, won't you come to see me off to the war," Alph Aston affectionately wakes Luna Anna.
After understanding Alpha Aston, Luna Anna stands up straight. She rubs her face and hugs Alpha Aston without saying a word.
" Give me five minutes, " Luna Anna mumbled after Alpha Aston tried to pull away.
" Okay," Alpha Aston mumbled back hugging her tight.
" Aston, are our parents really going to war?" Luna Anna asked breaking the hug.
" That's the Queen's order and I have to obey," Alpha Aston growled in anger.
" I find them nice after yesterday, " Luna Anna shared her opinion.
" That doesn't change the fact they are ordering us as if we are their kind... I don't trust the Queen. How did she mate and mark Ace when he attacked our pack?" Alpha Aston barks and calms down as Luna Anna caresses his back.
" Wait, are you wearing a combat suit?" Luna Anna questioned after noticing Alpha Aston's outfit.
" Everyone will be leaving in twenty minutes, Anna," Alpha Aston reminded making Luna Anna get off the bed.
She picked up her clothes on the floor and said,
" You should have woke me up earlier. I'm the Luna... I have to look after the pack once you leave,"
Then she jogged out of the room making Alpha Aston frown and mumble to himself,
" I shouldn't have gone easy on her last night, "
