I have a few questions
I know you don't want to hear it, probably won't even read it
But if you do, you don't have to answer, of course
But give it a chance, and maybe you'll change your mine
Do you read them?
The poems written just for you
Explaining our love
Our memories
Our beginning
Our end
Can you tell which are which?
The ones dedicated specifically for you
I'm sure you can
I don't try to hide it
There's no reason to
You're the only one who would be able to tell
Our poems are the only place we have been able to be true to ourselves
Baring our souls through words written in the privacy of our bedrooms
So tell me
Do you still think of me?
The way I sometimes think of you
Do I pop into your head when you least expect it?
Taking over your train of thought
Distracting you from the reality in front of you
Do you still miss me?
The way you said you did
Does your heart ache when my name pops up or my image emerges
Do you still love me?
The way you promised you would
Until death do us part
Even if worlds lay between us
Do you?
Tell me, and I'll listen the only way we know how
