Now, I'd run to you
The second you closed that door
I'd pull you into me
Holding you close
I'd hear your screams far before they fought their way passed your teeth
You wouldn't be alone
It's useless now
It's doesn't matter what I'd do now
I shouldn't have left you alone
To deal with the crushing weight of the world
I will never dismiss your screams again
