Ocean eyes flutter to mine
Holding me captive
Hypnotized
Frozen in space and time
Blond tendrils fall in your face
I wonder what you would do if i reached over and tucked it behind your ear
I imagine rose rose petals collect in piles like autumn leaves on your cheeks
My gaze wonders to your lips
Maybe I could lean in for a kiss
A whisper against them
Grazing your lips with mine
Feeling cold metal glidding across my warm skin
Your body pressed into mine as we say goodbye
Chest to chest
Not a breath between us
And as you pull away
I realize
For once
I wish I would drown
ESTÁ A LER
My Head's Above Water
PoesiaLosing the one you thought you'd have forever will really put things into perspective. Life and death, love and hate, the old and the new. Lay back and relax, we're getting over a heartbreak one miserable poem after the other.
