I will no longer feign my innocence
I must own up and face my consequence
It took losing you
To see the other point of view
I was manipulative
Interrogative
Never letting you breathe
Bruising you with gnashing teeth
It's not something I like to relive
And it's not something I expect you to
forgive
I just wish I could show you
I just wish you could know
How truly sorry I am
But you'll just see this as spam
So, for now, I'll continue to make progress
Until I've reached success
