I didn't expect it
I expect silence, maybe a move on, screw off, but I was wrong
You told me exactly what you want
So, let me love you again,
I will take your hand and brave any storm that may threaten to blow us away
Show you that I am here to stay
My heels are dug in
Stay with me,
I will not retreat at the sight of a storm or a rising tide
I will tend to your heart with delicate, sure hands
Watering it every day and watching it sprout
I will kiss you with passionate lips and hold you close with gentle caresses
I will reassure you every day with a smile and honest words
Never letting you believe I may leave
I will show you that you can be loved in kindness and peace and excitement
Not only in chaos and disasters
