I love swimming in the rain,
The way it washes away all of the pain
Mist fogging my vision
Which way is up?
Which way is down?
I need to make a decision
The feeling of being totally and utterly weightless
A bobbing buoy, shapeless
My eyes dazed with my face pointed towards the sky
As the sun and moon pass by
Which way is up?
Which way is down?
In a dream of my own making
I fear I will get swept up in the fantasy,
Can you believe that insanity?
This time, I'll let the water swallow me whole
Maybe then, I can gain back my control
