(Requested) Love Him Right Back (Tree x Black Hole)

«~Tree POV~»

Its always nice to get a break between challenges. It gives the contestants some peace and time to get with their friends. Well, if they are on the opposite team.

Like last break, I wanted to hang out Bottle but she was busy with Pin. Apparently she wanted to act more like a leader for her team. She always has good intentions that Bottle, very sweet!

I suppose I could be by myself for a while. I make my way over to a larger tree. Well, larger than myself. (This isn't TPOT 8 Tree, but I will make a Oneshot on that.)

I take a seat underneath the shade from the leaves, hearing them rustle with the gentle breeze. I can't hear my own however, it takes a more larger wind to cause them to sway like that.

The autumn smell being carried in the breeze, making the setting more calming and relaxed. I open my book to my green ribbon bookmark, Part 12 Gravitation and Air.

I thought I should get into astrology, recommended by Black Hole. And I gotta say, I am quite interested in it so far. I secretly found this book in Cloudy's collection, and I was going to return it when I finished.

Like a library sort of.

As I read in peace underneath the tree, a good friend of mine comes up to me. I have known him since BFB, and they are really calm and caring. We like to think of ourselves as brothers.

Black Hole goes up to me, but not too close to the point where I am inside of the, well, Black Hole.
"Hey Tree. How's it going?"

I look up at Black Hole from underneath the shade, "It's going just fine. The weather was nice, so I thought that I should do something relaxing. How about you Black Hole?"

"Oh, um, I guess you can say the same thing for me. I couldn't really find anyone else to talk to, and it would be nice to talk with you."

I can tell that Black Hole notices my book because he rotated slightly towards me. "What are you reading Tree?"

"Hm? Oh, I'm reading about astrology. Space, stars, I have gotten into it more ever since you recommended it to me." I gave him a warm smile to show appreciation. It's always makes someone happy when you follow their advice, or listen to what they say.

"Oh cool! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far." Black Hole responds happily in return. "Well, since I'm here, is it okay if I stay for a bit longer?"

I look at Black Hole with a hint of surprise. I mean sure it was nice outside, the mood was perfect and calming, we both have a good relationship, and we both love nature and astrology. But I didn't think that Black Hole would want to hang out with me today!

"Of course Black Hole! I didn't think you would ask me that." I can feel a part of my face turn slightly red.

He moves closer to the tree I'm sitting under, still using precaution. "You alright Tree? Do you have a fever? I can get help if you-"

"No it's alright, I just got a little flustered that's all."

"Oh, I-Im sorry for getting carried away. I guess I got worried, I care about you Tree."

"Well thank you Black Hole! I also appreciate and care for you, you are a great and loyal friend to me."

I can see Black Hole sorta look over to his side, "Not like that Tree. Well...I love you, Tree. I just didn't think you would like me back and that it would ruin what we have and, I should go."

Black Hole starts to fly away after I just processed what he told me. I quickly put my bookmark in my astrology book and catch up to Black Hole.

"Wait! Don't go yet!"

Black Hole stops, and turns around to face me. "Why would you want me to stay. I just made a horrible confession to you Tree."

"Black Hole, your love for me won't ruin what we have...because I love you as well. I just held it back because of the same reason you did, fear of ruining our bond we worked so hard to have. You have no right to be ashamed."

I look at Black Hole with a heartwarming smile, feeling my face turn red again. But this time, it's because of affection.

"I-uh, Thank you Tree. For everything."

"It's no problem dear. Now, let's go back under the shade. I can read to you if you would like?"

"That sounds wonderful Tree! I mean, yeah sure!"

I giggle to myself. Black Hole has always been so sweet to me, so I will just have to be sweeter back.
