(Requested) A Clarified Bond (Lightning x Snowball)

«~Lightning POV~»

I fly my way over to Snowballs house just a few blocks away. I don't fly too far up from the ground, unless I really feel like it. Eh, what the heck.

I fly higher away from the ground, excited for what's to come. Snowball asked me if I wanted to do a sleepover tonight through text, and I gotta say yes.

I mean, even though Snowball can be rough and we split up during TPOT for separate teams, he is still a friend of mine. And also, sometimes he can be pretty funny!

"Oh gosh, I hope I didn't get lost. At least I don't think I did." I fly closer to the ground and pull my phone out of my hoodie pocket. 7:30pm, my Lock Screen is a photo I took with Death P.A.C.T. Again.

"Um, how does this work again. Oh right! Hey Meeple." I ask into my phone, I feel like a weirdo doing this outside.

"Ding, yes?"

"So, to clarify, how far away am I from Snowballs house?"

"You are currently-"

I was about to know where I was supposed to go, but then I got interrupted.

"Hey bro! Get inside already! It's too cold for you!" I hear a rough voice that almost causes me to drop my phone, Snowballs voice to clarify.

"Oh, hey SB! I'll be in there soon!"

"Well you better! I'm starting to get bored!"

I smile and roll my eyes while putting my phone away, and fly over to SB's house.

Once I get inside, Snowball closes the door behind me and immediately goes right in front of me.

"Finally! Now it's time for us bros to have the best sleep over ever!"

My eyes widen at what he just told me, "Oh, you think I am a bro? I thought that was just for, like, athletic people."

"Lightning! A bro is someone that is a cool friend of someone as manly as myself. I honestly think you are BOTH cool and a friend!" I cringe. (I laughed so hard that I fell from my chair lol 💀)

I snap back to reality and remember why I was invited. "So to clarify, shouldn't we start the sleep over?"

"Oh right. Let's go Lightning! I have everything set up downstairs." Snowball leads the way through his house so I float behind him.

However, something still lingers in my mind. I think I should tell him about it, I mean, I wouldn't want it stuck in my mind all night. "Snowball, why did you say it was too cold for me outside? You don't have to answer if I am invading any privacy."

Snowball stops walking right at the top of his staircase to talk to me about it. "Well, I guess I just got worried about you catching a cold. B-Because...not many people can stand the harsh night time cold! Yeah."

"O-oh okay. I thought it was because of something else."

We both walk down the stairs in SB's house, well, he walks I float. When we get to the bottom, Snowball has a medium sized TV, a light gray couch, a large table with snacks, and two sleeping bags.

"Wow, this is pretty impressive Snowball. But, what's the point of snacks if we are just going to sleep?"

Snowball suddenly starts laughing, making me confused. Was it something I said? (TPOT 2 reference!)

"Lightning! You don't SLEEP until the activities are OVER. That's why is called a Sleep over, duh!" (This is actually a reference to my Reader x Lightbulb Oneshot.)

"Now, let's get started!"

We just finished watching a movie that I recommended actually. It was the original Pokémon movie, and yeah, I'm a fan of Pokémon.

While the credits were rolling, I look over at Snowball in his sleeping bag while I am in mine, popcorn all over the floor. He looks pretty drowsy to me.

"Oh gosh, are you getting tired Snowball. Sorry if the movie was boring."

"*Yawn, no no it didn't Lightning. I just got...a little tired." Snowball then collapses just about right next to my sleeping bag.

"You should get some sleep. I'll turn off the TV and shut my eyes too."

"Thanks Lightning." Snowball tries to reply while keeping his eyes open. "You really care about me...don't you?"

I can feel my face turn red, "I-uh, yeah. I guess you could say that. You have a good eye SB."

When I started talking he was already passed out, without a second to waste. Who would have known that one of the most energetic people I know would go to sleep before me.

I turn off the TV and get comfortable in my sleeping bag.

"Have a good sleep SB. I know I will."

Woohoo! Lightning is probably my favorite TPOT contestant, and whenever someone tries to match me with a contestant it always ends up being Lightning. Sorry if I got a little lazy with this one, I wrote it later than usual. But thanks for reading anyway, and as always...
