SIYA'S POV

I slowly got up and opened my eyes; the room was still dark, indicating it wasn't morning yet. I couldn't believe I had woken up so early. The sleep I had felt like I hadn't slept in ages. As I gradually opened my eyes, I noticed Arjun sitting beside my bed with his laptop. I immediately sat up and asked, "Arjun, what the... Why did you come to this room early in the morning? What if someone comes in again today? It's nice that I woke up early, though."

He looked at me from the laptop, and I inquired him again, "What are you doing early in the morning with the laptop arjun, and you got ready too? You haven't slept?"

Arjun gazed at me with a raised eyebrow, placing his laptop aside and getting up. He opened the curtains, allowing the sunlight to flood the room. I instinctively closed my eyes, and as I slowly opened them, I squinted at the brightness.

Arjun looked at me with a smile and said, "Good afternoon, wife." Confused by his greeting, I checked my phone and exclaimed, "It's 11:45 am, Arjun! Why didn't you wake me up?" Realizing the time, I hastily got up from the bed, but in my urgency, my foot got turned, causing a momentary mishap.

"Jaan!" Arjun exclaimed as he quickly sat in front of me, concerned about my sudden urgency. He asked, "What's the hurry siya?"

I replied, "It's 11:45. What does everyone think about me? Even you were looking serious," I added, looking at Arjun.

He chuckled and said, "Jaan, I was just acting to scare you. But why are you in a hurry to get up? Look, your feet got twisted."

I looked at him and reassured, "I am fine, just my feet are hurting from wearing heels for a long time yesterday." Arjun, concerned, remarked, "From today, you are not allowed to wear heels anymore." I stared at him in horror, exclaiming, "Arjun!"

He raised his palm, signaling that he didn't want to discuss it further. Coming in front of me, Arjun checked my feet and asked if it was painful. I shook my head in denial, and he smiled, saying, "Good. Go and freshen up, and I'll arrange breakfast for you."

I hesitated, expressing my desire to go downstairs and meet everyone first. Feeling ashamed for getting up late, I insisted on having breakfast downstairs.

Arjun sighed and agreed, saying, "Okay, as you wish, I'll wait downstairs. He turned back and said I forgot to tell you we have to go to the Sharma house, and we'll be there for three days, so pack accordingly."

Excitement filled me, and I eagerly asked,
"Arjun, are we really going to stay there?" He nodded in affirmation, making me incredibly happy. However, later, I realized the duration and said slowly, "Just for three days?" Arjun was about to respond when he received a call. He quickly conveyed, "Get ready and pack accordingly; we have to leave." After sharing this information, he left to attend the call.

Reflecting on the short duration, I thought, "I'm going for just three days. I'll do one thing; I'll ask Arjun to leave if he has any work, and I'll stay at the Sharma house for a few more days ."

This idea seemed good to me, and I went to freshen up, contemplating the upcoming visit to my parents home.

Later, I freshened up and came downstairs, feeling a bit of embarrassment and tension. I noticed everyone sitting in the living room, and I slowly made my way down. Grandma looked at me and asked, "Siya beta, you got up. Hope you slept well." I nodded in affirmation and took a seat near Vasu Aunty.
