Chapter 46

ARJUN'S POV

As Siya left the room in tears, I couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt and responsibility for Siya's tears. I turned to Meera aunty and Siya's grandmother, explaining, "Aunty, actually, Siya set an alarm, and she even told me to wake her up if she didn't get up for the alarm. However, considering how tired she was after the reception and the lack of proper sleep in the past few days, I decided not to disturb her. I closed the curtains to ensure she wouldn't be bothered by the sunlight. I even told no one to wake her up until she woke up. As soon she woke up siya scolded me this morning for not waking her up."

Siya's grandmother smiled warmly at me and then turned to Siya's mother, saying, "Meera, I must say our son-in-law is a diamond. Our laddu is lucky to have him as her life partner."

Later, Siya descended the stairs alongside her sister-in-law, Trisha. As she approached, she turned to her mother and grandmother, expressing a sense of regret, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reacted that way when you wanted to correct me."

Siya's grandmother looked at me and reassured Siya, "No problem, laddu. Arjun told us everything. You told him to wake you up in the morning, and you also kept an alarm. He explained everything to us." As soon as her grandmother shared this information, Siya turned to look at me. I met her gaze and subtly blinked my eyes, signaling her to remain silent about the details. Siya's mother intervened, "We should have given a chance to talk." Siya's father, wanting to diffuse the tension, suggested, "Okay, forget everything. Let's have lunch; they can be hungry." With that, we all proceeded to share a meal together.

As we were having lunch, I received a call from the office stating there was urgent work that required my presence. I quickly disconnected the call and informed everyone that I would be returning early in the evening.

It was around 8 pm when I arrived home, and Krishna, Shiv, and Dev greeted me. We engaged in casual conversation about various topics. Siya's grandmother said something to Krishna, who then approached me, saying, "Arjun, come and freshen up." He guided me to his room and handed me a new kurta-pajama. I raised an eyebrow inquiringly, and Krishna explained, "Arjun, wear this white kurta and pajama tonight as per the ritual." Understanding his hint, I changed into the attire and went downstairs for dinner. I searched for, but she was not in sight.

AUTHOR'S POV

Arjun, Krishna, Shiv, and Dev, along with Siya's father, Bade Papa, and grandfather, all gathered for dinner. Siya's Badima was graciously serving dinner to everyone. Arjun inquired about Siya, wondering if she was joining for dinner. Badima smiled and replied, "She is having dinner in the room; Meera is feeding her."Meanwhile, Trisha was assisting Siya in getting ready for her special night. Meera fed Siya and left the room. Siya, still getting ready, mentioned to Trisha, "Anni, this blouse is a little tight; I feel like I can't breathe." Trisha looked at Siya with a smile and said, "Just a few more minutes, and you won't feel a thing." Siya blushed, with a shy and shocked expression, responding "Anni."

Meanwhile, Annapurna, Siya's grandmother, entered the room. She looked at Siya and exclaimed, "You're looking very beautiful, Laddu ." Annapurna then sat beside Siya, took Siya's hand in hers, and continued, "Laddu, you were the little girl in this house, and you will always be our little baby. Till now, your naughtiness, your pranks - everything is different. But now, you are entering into your married life, You should be responsible you and Arjun should be happy always."

"Every moment with each other is so valuable. Learn how to mold your life with happiness. Money, pride - these don't give you happiness in life; they just give you status. But love always gives happiness. You should always work to increase the happiness in your life specially between wife and husband. As a wife, your responsibility will be more, to handle everything with maturity. You have to know what Arjun likes and dislikes in all aspects.
