After getting showered and dressed Lena made her way out in some borrowed clothes from Kara, which were nicer than she originally thought a veterinarian would have. She walked out to the living room where she saw Kara on her sofa organizing papers of some kind. "Whatcha doing?" Lena asked. "Oh...just going over some stuff." Kara replied without looking up. Curious Lena sat down beside her and looked over the paper work. "Is this something you're working on at the clinic?" Lena asked.

"Uh yea...it's something I've been working on with a tech company. This is a prototype layout for prosthetic legs for farm animals." Kara replied. "Really? Can I take a look?" Lena asked. "Uh...sure!" Kara replied as she passed over the papers. Lena examined the papers closely arching an eyebrow at them. Kara couldn't help but look at the way her eyes wandered over the papers in her hand. There was definitely something alluring about the women beside her, and Kara wanted to everything in her power to find out what it was.

A few minutes passed before Lena glanced up at the blonde who was now sipping a drink. "These are very interesting! It'll be great to see them in use. What company are you working with?" Lena asked. "Unique Prosthetics its out of Germany, the CEO went to college with me. We became close and remain good friends. He sends me prototypes to use in my clinic and I send him analysis on them. How they work, how good they work, what doesn't work good, and what he can do to improve them." Kara replied.

"Sooo you use a former boyfriend's prototypes to improve animals lives?" Lena asked trying to dig up more information on the blonde. "Former boyfriend! Oh hell no! I came out as a lesbian when I was in high school! There was and never will be any boyfriends!" Kara exclaimed. Lena couldn't help but laugh at the blonde. "So is there a girlfriend?" Lena asked with a smirk. "No...I work too much to entertain the thought of one. And not a lot of women like to date someone who has a tendency to come home smelling and looking like a barn. So I remain single, which is totally fine." Kara replied with what Lena would describe as a sad smile on her lips.

"But what about you? Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Both? Dogs? Cats?" Kara asked. "No boyfriends, never had one. No girlfriends either, no pets of any sort. I live above my shop in a very tiny apartment, it has a bed, a small area to make food, and a wet bath. I order out a lot, and work on my newest inventions. I'm in the process of making goat milk skin care products. You probably know the farmer I work with huh..since it is the only goat farm near National City." Lena stated as Kara nodded.
