I first made eye contact with the guy who had grabbed my arm the last time I was here. The one with the steely blue eyes with dark circles under them. He had a skinny face and yellow teeth that showed when he smirked at me. He raised his eyebrows as he nudged his friend. I recognized him as well from the alleyway. He had more facial hair than a caveman, and I had a feeling he acted like one too. I held onto Mason with my good arm, and hoped that they wouldn't start anything. It was a great night, and I didn't want them to ruin it.
We kept walking towards the door, picking up the pace as we moved, until we heard, "Hey, little Red."
"Keep going," I muttered to Mason, Emery and Adam.
"Don't keep going," the hairy-faced guy said with a mocking tone.
"Yeah, you and your boyfriend there started something you didn't finish last time," Yellow Teeth added.
"If I remember correctly, you started something and we finished it," Mason told him. Yellow Teeth and Caveman exchanged looks and I had a feeling they were going to try to fight Mason or something. I looked at Emery who gave me a slight nod and slipped away unnoticed.
"Is that what you remember?" Yellow Teeth asked sarcastically. He stepped really close to Mason, Adam and I, then looked down at me. "I remember you still being in debt for spending a night on our turf."
"I also remember her shoving you away when you tried to show her how to pay it off," Caveman added. I looked between the two and took a deep breath. I was always mouthy, so I decided I might as well stand up for myself, or I would always fear these two idiots. I was so sick of my past haunting the present.
"Wow, you're both as sick in the head as I remember!" I exclaimed. "Last I checked, underage girls don't owe you their bodies after three years for simply hiding behind a garbage bin for a night," I sneered. My blood was boiling with disgust and anger.
"I think we were pretty clear the first time we spoke," Yellow Teeth grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.
"Get your hands off her," Mason warned. It was low and definitely a threat I didn't want to see him follow through on. I tried to shrug off the man's hands, but his neanderthal friend gripped my other shoulder.
Mason took a step forward and shoved Yellow Teeth's chest. The creep let go of me to sturdy his balance, and I didn't hesitate to hit his friend in the stomach with my cast. Caveman released his grip on my shoulder and howled in pain.
Yellow Teeth then threw a punch at Mason, hitting him in the jaw. I gasped and rushed forward, only to be roughly yanked back by Caveman. Adam then stepped in and threw a punch at that guy. He let me go as he staggered back and before I knew it there was a brawl happening and I couldn't do anything to stop it.
