Jess' shirt was incredibly itchy.
It wasn't something she wore usually, her attire mainly consisting of joggers and a jumper, alongside a pair of dunks. Only today, she had promised Leah she'd wear some slightly more formal clothes, that still kept some form of comfort.
That was how she ended up in a pale pink Ralph Lauren polo shirt, with a white trailing around it, similar to that of a tennis shirt, alongside a red and black tartan skirt, and some white Nike socks, and pandas. It wasn't as comfortable as her usual attire, but she could make do in it for the evening. At least she could keep her blonde hair pulled back into her iconic French plaits, which could fit her ear defenders over them/
Leah was sat beside her, in an tight wearing black Gucci dress, that had her shoulders on show, alongside a pair of white heels, her hair slicked back, a natural make up look over her face. Despite being on holiday for the past 3 days in a hot country, she was lacking a tan.
Lia was sat on the other side of Leah, in a black sequined top, paired with a black blazer, and some black suit trousers. Her hair was pulled into a half up- half down look, lightly curled so that it sat just above her shoulders, a slight fringe just covering some of her eye.
It was their final night of the holiday, and the team had rented out a nearby restaurant to the hotel, so that they could have the space to themself. They all had separate tables though, and Leah and Lia had managed to book one for just them, alongside a spare chair, which allowed Jess to float around the restaurant, rather than having to stay in one place.
Their table was burrowed away a little in the corner. It had a romantic aura around it, with ivory hanging above them, a dimly lit area with only a candle providing a form of light, alongside the beauty of the sun setting in the background. Both Lia and Leah were smitten with it; Jess, not so much.
Since sitting down at the table, Leah had to keep adjusting the placement of the candle, with Jess somehow getting nearer and nearer to knocking it off the side of the table.
When she wasn't trying to avoid setting the restaurant on fire, her eyes were kept firmly on Lia's ones, the two of them wrapped up in the presence of one another, reaching their hands to remain intertwined on the table.
"Are you just going to hold hands and stare lovingly into each others eyes the entire time?"
"Well, no. We're going to have to eat our food at some point Jessie."
"I've already eaten though!"
"Yes, we are aware, we watched you eat."
Given that it was a rather formal restaurant, they were once more faced with the dilemma of not being offered anything on the menu that Jess would be comfortable eating. Fortunately for the both of them, they had been prepared together that time, coming with the food they knew she'd eat.
Their answer wasn't sufficient enough for Jess though, who sighed in despair, collapsing back even further into her seat. It didn't stop Lia and Leah though, the two of them continuing to remain locked in each others eyes.
After only a few moments, she'd had enough, deciding to stand from the table to wander around and visit some of the other girls.
Just a few metres away from their small family table, was Viv and Beth, the two of them also having gotten a table for themselves as well, clearly wanting to appreciate time together. Jess made a mental note to avoid them as well, the likelihood of those two being also locked away in each others eyes similar to Lia and Leah being high.
Round the corner from them, was Katie and Caitlin, alongside Kyra and Teyah. It had seemed, that despite Katie and Caitlin wanting to spend some time together alone, much the same as the other two couples, none of the others wanted to handle Kyra and Teyah, ending up dumping the two of them onto them. Jess thought it'd also be best to avoid them as well.
