Toji and a brown-haired man exited a very large church building, the sun setting and casting a warm orange light across the scene. The grandeur of the building loomed behind them, its shadow stretching long across the ground.
The two men conversed for a moment until the brown-haired man started heading in a different direction, his footsteps echoing softly in the tranquil evening air.
Toji yawned as he also began to walk away, a satisfied smile playing on his lips and the cursed spirit worm wrapped around his body pulsing slightly.
However, that smile was immediately wiped away as he sensed a presence landing right behind him.
"Well, if it isn't the ever-bothersome brat," Toji muttered, turning his head to stare at the newcomer.
That man was (Y/N), who stood panting with sweat glistening on his face, evidence of his relentless pursuit. His eyes burned with determination and fury.
"Hey, bastard. I finally found you..." (Y/N) said, his head tilted slightly as he caught his breath.
Toji smirked, "I thought we promised to never see each other again. You know that our fight will only lead to both of us dying." His tone was mocking, yet there was a grudging respect in his eyes, recognizing (Y/N)'s strength as being on par with his own.
"You're the one who broke that promise. 'I'm not exactly knee-deep in the Jujutsu world.' Don't fucking make me laugh," (Y/N) retorted, gritting his teeth. He wasn't usually the one to curse, but the situation had pushed him to the edge.
Toji laughed slightly, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. "What can I say? Thirty million yen was just too hard to pass on."
"What did you do to Gojo?" (Y/N) demanded, ignoring Toji's flippant attitude and focusing on his main objective.
"Were you friends with him? Yeah, that's not surprising," Toji replied, his tone dismissive.
"What did YOU DO?!" (Y/N) shouted, his voice echoing through the empty area, filled with raw emotion.
Toji's smile widened as he petted his cursed spirit worm.
"Well, I killed him of course." He said in a malicious delight.
The words hung heavily in the air, their impact immediate and profound. (Y/N)'s fists clenched at his sides. The setting sun cast long shadows, the orange light now seeming more ominous than warm.
Then, the sun's shadow covering (Y/N)'s face subsided as he took a deep breath in.
In a split second, his hand was grabbing Toji's face, slamming him down to the ground with such force that it created a crater. Dust and debris exploded outward, filling the air with the sound of destruction.
"LET'S DO THIS THEN!"
Toji roared out, his voice a growl of excitement as he grabbed (Y/N)'s arm that was pinning him down and wrenched it away, freeing himself.
And with a swift, brutal headbutt, he forced (Y/N) back and leapt to his feet, reaching for one of his weapons simultaneously.
Out from his cursed spirit worm, Toji pulled out his white-furred katana, its blade glinting menacingly in the fading sunlight. He slashed toward (Y/N), but the young sorcerer had already vanished from his view.
From Toji's blind spot, (Y/N) appeared, his movement precise and deadly. He threw a powerful hook aimed straight at Toji's face.
Toji barely had time to react, catching sight of (Y/N)'s scowling gray eyes and gritted teeth just before the impact.
The force of the punch caused a distortion in the air, sparks flying from the sheer power of the blow.
Toji was sent flying toward the entrance pathway of the church building, crashing through the white pillars that lined the path. The pillars crumbled around him, adding to the destruction.
(Y/N) leaped toward one of the remaining pillars, crouching as the dust settled. His eyes never left Toji, who slowly stood up and stared up, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.
"Was that your best shot, brat?" Toji taunted, cracking his neck as he reached for his worm again. This time, he pulled out the jitte-shaped dagger from their previous encounter.
This fight was completely different from their last one. They both had a reason to fight, a determination to kill each other, and nothing was standing in their way.
Toji, now wielding both the katana and the dagger, moved with deadly precision. He slashed at the pillar (Y/N) was standing on, cutting it down. But (Y/N) had already anticipated the move, jumping down just in time.
In mid-air, Toji met him with a fierce thrust of the dagger. (Y/N) barely managed to dodge, encasing Toji's arm holding the dagger with his own grip. But Toji's other arm, wielding the katana, came slashing at (Y/N)'s side.
(Y/N) felt the blade slice through his side, a sharp pain radiating from the wound.
As Toji attempted another slash, he found his blade unable to move. His eyes widened as he saw an arm, manifested from (Y/N)'s cursed energy, emerge from (Y/N)'s shoulder to grab the katana.
Realizing that (Y/N)'s grip on his arm holding the dagger was tightening, Toji kicked himself backward, creating distance as they both fell to the ground.
"Again... That ability of yours is quite useful," Toji mused, his eyes narrowing as he dashed forward to attack again.
But, just as Toji took off, a massive spike erupted from the ground, halting his movement.
That was when he noticed. The entire ground, reaching around twenty meters, was already a pool of (Y/N)'s dark cursed energy.
"This will be where you die, Sorcerer Killer," (Y/N) declared, his dark energy beginning to cover his body, forming an armor similar to when he fought Gojo.
Immediately he followed with a fighting stance, his lead foot pointing forward, knees slightly bent, and hands raised to guard himself.
