He ended up sleeping with Kenadee last night and I didn't mind, I actually watched them for a little bit. They were both sleeping so peacefully and happily, like they never had been separated. I knew that he was happy and I couldn't help but to kiss his head softly. I didn't get any sleep, I couldn't without him by my side and I'm sure he was not even aware of it. I knew that maybe I'd have to suggest Kenadee sleep with us just to satisfy the both of us. I was shaken from my thoughts at her sneezing in her sleep and I smiled lightly before waking him up, which I did regret. He was enjoying his sleep and the absolute last thing I wanted to do was bother him. I just needed him to know what I was going to do and where I was going.

"Ashley?" I asked softly and he groaned, opening his eyes and looking at me.

"Yeah?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm going to go out for a bit, you know, to, but I'll be back in an hour or two. Okay?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"Don't go, please." He begged slightly and I stood up.

"I'm sorry, I'll be right back, I promise." I told him and turned around before he grabbed my hand.

"Come sleep with us, please." He said as I turned to face him. He was half sitting up, some of his body under Kenadee.

"No, I'm not tired. You get some sleep. Maybe we all can take a nap later on or something." I told him and he let go of my hand, the expression of disappointment hanging low on his face.

"Okay..." He said, laying back down and closing his eyes. I sighed and looked from the door to the bed, seeing the puppy curled up at the foot of the bed and the bunny rabbit peacefully sleeping in its cage.

"Scoot over." I told him, seeing him open his eyes and smile a bit as he scooted over. I carefully got in behind him, wrapping my arm around him and Kenadee. I pulled the blanket over all of us, having him turn his head back to me.

"You don't have to stay, you can go." He told me and I shook my head, kissing his head."

"No, it's okay. But you owe me one." I told him and he nodded, turning back and moving my free arm underneath his head so he could lay on it. I sighed happily against his back and kissed it before closing my eyes a little.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to do what Mike and Tony are doing. I mean, with this life choice comes the consequences of death, there's no other fate. Prison is not an option, there is no way that I'm going to even get arrested, there's no chance. I don't want to have to be the reason Ashley has to be careful of his surroundings, or something bad happens to Kenadee. There are many things that I can do to avoid anything happening to them, but what about me? If something were to happen to me, what will Ashley do? Will he be upset and then just go on doing what he was doing before he met me? He has no obligation to continue a lifestyle that I've lived and lead for years. I opened my eyes and peeked up at him and Kenadee, him moving around some and I felt him kiss my arm.

"Is everything okay?" He asked me and I nodded, even though he couldn't see me.

"Yeah, I was just, you know, checking on you and Kenadee. Go back to sleep." I told him, hearing him sigh. I laid back down in his back, my head against his neck. I couldn't help but to notice all the little freckles on his back, how he happened to have a tiny scar there. I looked up and could see tiny indents in his skin on his neck. I took my arm from around him and Kenadee and touched it slightly, knowing what it was. They were from the chains, he still had the marks. I felt him shift again and I watched him turn over, Kenadee in front of him and his eyes open, looking into mine.

"If you're not sleepy, you don't have to stay." He told me and I chuckled light.

"What makes you think that I wasn't sleep?" I asked and he smiled softly.
