Chapter 18: Alone And Heartbroken

Midnight's POV

I sent a blast of dark magic into the wall, trying to move it. However it just exploded in front of my face. I screamed and ducked for cover.

"What am I doing wrong?" I stood, shaking.

"I don't know." Zen shrugged.

"It looks like you're doing everything right." Fate spoke.

"Wow why was I so scared of The Shadow Warrior. She can't even move a wall." Brio laughed.

I just glared at him.

"Let's stop for now. Maybe in a little bit we can start fresh." Fate suggested.

"No, I want to keep going." I turned to them.

"Then do it by yourself." Fate kept walking away.

As they walked through the portal I kicked a rock in frustration.

Why does no one give a fuck about me.

They just want to use me to get rid of The Spirits then rid of me too.

They bend their backs for Musso and Kade.

Yet here I am. No one wants me.

No one but Musso. And my few friends.

Wonder how they were doing.

I transported back to our world into the battle Arena.

A few people gasped and stepped back as I teleported right in front of them.

Rey was fighting some strange person.

It was only a matter of seconds till Rey punched him out of the ring.

"And the winner is Rey!" The announcer called.

Rey flexed his muscles and cheered.

I teleported next to Rey as he walked in the lockerooms.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Rey jumped back, startled.

"Sorry. I'm just trying to get better with my powers." I apologized.

"It's fine!" Rey playfully punched me but I jumped out of the way.

"Let me punch you!" Rey laughed as I dodged his next attacks.

"Stop it in here!" We heard someone yell.

We both stopped dead in our tracks.

"No fighting in the lockeroom! Who is fighting?" The voice called.

"Grab my arm." I whispered to Rey.

"Why?" Rey quietly asked.

"Just do it." I lightly growled.

I concentrated and teleported us into the city.

"You're a sly one, Midnight." Rey clughed.

"Of course I am. Everyone wants to kill me." I chuckled.

Then I saw it.

I turned around to see Musso.

And in his arms, a girl with brown hair.

She glanced at me and pulled him closer and kissed him.

Even though I was filled with rage I turned the other way and let a single tear fall from my eyes.
