Chapter 35: Back In Action

Musso's POV

The Spirits jumped back in disbelief.

"Thought it would be that easy to defeat me, you were wrong." I heard Midnight faintly speak over the battle.

A vortex of dark magic held her up in the air.

It looked like a powerful black tornado spinning around her, yet it only held her 20 feet above the ground.

She sent put dark magic from the vortex and it wrapped itself around The Spirits holding them in place while lightening came down from the sky striking them.

Midnight smirked.

She looked so confident.

How powerful has she become?

Strong enough to defeat The Spirits that confidently?

She then landed on the ground with the vortex surrounding her going right into the hearts of The Spirits.

They tried to punch and kick her but she dodged every blow with ease.

12 against 1.

Yet she made it look easy.

Then when was cornered in the center she sent a powerful mass of dark magic out sending all The Spirits flying out into the battle.

"You done yet?" She smirked.

The Spirits got themselves off the ground and flung themselves at her.

Yet she jumped out of the way and they collided with each other.

"I knew it would be easy but I didn't know it would be this easy." Midnight chuckled.

The Spirits couldn't land a single blow on her.

"She's amazing." Kade coughed as he crawled up next to me.

"She is." I nodded.

How did she get this powerful?

"Do we even need to help her?" Kade asked.

"I don't know." I could feel the magic inside me twist around.

"What should we do then?" Kade asked.

"Just help end this." I spoke.

"Looks like Midnight got The Spirits in their place." Kade chuckled.

"Seems like it." Rey came up from behind me and picked me off the ground.

"Let's get this party started." Rey smirked.

"Or more of like finish it." I went for a high five.

"No I don't want the party to end!" Rey complained.

I could hear Kade face palm himself behind me.

"By party I mean battle. And win it." I rolled my eyes.

"Now that I can do!" Rey high faved my face by accidently.

"Careful!" I yelled at him.

"Oh sorry!" Rey chuckled.

"Use that against the people over there!" Kade pointed at the battle that shifted away from us.

Luckily no one seemed to notice us on the outside. They probably thought The Spirits end us.

"Oh yeah I saw Midnight too!" Rey yelled at me.

"Yeah I saw." I scuffed.

"She alive for sure!" Rey shook me in happiness.

"Use that strength in the fight not me!" I growled.

"Alright let's go!" Rey smiled.

And we went back into the battle.
