Musso's POV

"How did you get in here?" The voice approached us.

"Get out." Fate mumbled under his breath but we remained in our place.

"Because we want to." Midnight crossed her arms.

"No one is allowed here." The voice growled.

"Who is going to stop me?" I smirked.

"Me." The voice leaped out and slammed his sword on my head.

The sword broke into tons of little pieces. I didn't even flinch.

"What?" The old man the voice belonged to stepped back in shot. "Which of the three are you?"

"I am the Chosen One." I stuttered.

"You highness!" The old man took to one knee. "I'm Saint Declan. I am here to serve you."

"What?" I took a step back, confused.

"I have been waiting for the Chosen One to become strong enough to open those doors in order to use all these magical items this place holds. I was to protect this place from beings like Boz. But now that you're here, my duty is to you." Saint Declan spoke.

"That's not needed-" I began but a rumble cut me off.

"Boz!" Saint Declan exclaimed. "We need to close the door."

"Too late for that." We heard Brio laugh evilly.

Midnight suddenly took off and punched Brio right in the gut, sending him back outside the room.

Brio then lunged at Midnight but she flew away down The Cave.

"Midnight!" I yelled as I followed them.

"They're headed to The Crack." Fate spoke in a hard tone.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Basically it's a break in the space time continuum. If you fall through you could be sent anywhere in the universe." Fate spoke. "And it could be the enemy's hands. She's not ready to face an entire army in their home base."

"We need to stop her!" I picked up speed. There was no way I could lose Midnight.

We picked up speed as we flew across The Cave.

"Midnight! Stop!" I yelled.

Midnight stopped for a moment and looked back to see me. I could see it in her eyes.

I got this. Leave with the all the items for the Doomsday room.

"I can't do that!" I yelled. "Your safety is first."

I lunged at Brio as he attacked Midnight but I felt something crash into my side and sent me flying back.

I turned around ready to face another enemy. But it was just Fate.

"Your duty is to the universe, not her." Fate growled. "Let's go."

"Let me do this real quick." I pleaded.

"No." Fate spoke sternly.

All the sudden I heard a loud crashing sound.

I pushed passed Fate to see that The Crack in The Cave shining.

"Midnight!" I screamed.

But it was too late. She was gone.
