"So where do you want to go for lunch?," I asked Claire.

"Somewhere by you. Food in Van Nuys is not nearly as good as food in Hollywood," Claire answered and I chuckled.

"I guess it's because we've got all the hipsters and foodies here," I laughed. "I can't decide what I'm in the mood for though."

"How about I just come pick you up and then we can decide or just cruise around and pick somewhere at random," she offered.

"Sure, that sounds good. Let me give you directions though." I was still at Harry's house. I had stayed here the past two nights and planned on going home this weekend.

"Liv, I know where you live. I mean I know I haven't been to your house in a while, but I've been there enough to remember," Claire said in a sarcastic tone.

"I know, but I'm not at my house right now. I'm staying at Harry's."

"But he's on tour. They play in Oslo tonight. Did he come home for the few days between shows?," Claire questioned confused. I couldn't help but laugh that she probably knew the band's schedule better than I did.

"No, I just have a key. I was missing him so I came to stay here. I promise he said that's okay, I'm not a stalker," I clarified and she laughed.

"Don't worry, I wasn't thinking that," she assured me. "So should I pick you up at one?"

"Can we do noon? I'm hungry," I said realizing I hadn't eaten anything. There wasn't much food at Harry's house and I had yet to properly go grocery shopping. I was living off kale chips, canned goods, and takeout at the moment.

"Sure," she agreed. "Oh crap, I have to get ready then. Traffic sucks from here. I'll see you at noon," Claire said hurriedly.

"Do you just want me to text you directions then?," I asked before she hung up.

"No, I know where it is," Claire said and I heard her gasp once the words came out. She was embarrassed by her own admission.

"Okay stalker," I laughed. "You've been caught red-handed."

"I've only driven by once or twice when he's been on tour. I'm not one of the crazy fans getting a picture by his gate or sitting on his driveway," Claire tried to defend.

"I'm just teasing, though that's still a bit strange to me," I laughed again to make sure she knew I wasn't worried about her motives. "I'll see you soon."

"Alright. See you in a bit Liv. Bye."

An hour later and my stomach was growling in anticipation of lunch. I checked the time on my phone– 11:53 AM. Before I put it back down, a text from Claire popped on the screen letting me know she was here. I texted back.

I'll be right out

I didn't feel comfortable letting her into Harry's house without him here, or at least him having met her before. I trusted Claire, but it wasn't my place to invite guests over. I'd feel like I was invading his privacy somehow. I hurried out the door, locking it behind me and hopped into the passenger seat.

"Hey!," Claire greeted me as I settled in the seat of her yellow Mini Cooper and fastened my seat belt.

"Hi. Thanks for picking me up. I see you had no trouble finding the place," I joked and Claire went red. "I'm only teasing you," I laughed and playfully smacked her arm with the back of my hand.

"So where should we go eat?," Claire asked as she curved down the winding streets of Harry's neighborhood, maybe trying to change the subject.
