"Seriously Har, you've been grinning like a maniac all day. What's the deal?," Niall asked from across the table at SoHo House. Harry turned to look at me and his smiled formed to a smirk.

"Just happy my girl is here," Harry said pulling me against him with his arm around my waist. He placed a kiss on my temple and my heart warmed.

"Jesus. I need to get me one of those" Niall grumbled across from us, "or at least get laid more often," he added under his breath and I couldn't help but laugh. Harry just shook his head.

We had barely left the hotel room after I showed up unannounced yesterday, so today we agreed to hang out with Niall, who apparently was lonely. I was flying out tomorrow morning, though Harry tried to convince me to tag along to Winnipeg for the concert. I might have agreed if I had brought my passport.

"So I didn't see you two much yesterday. What were you doing cooped up in the hotel room?," Niall asked before thinking about his question. Harry's expression changed to a cheeky smirk and he glanced over at me and then back at Niall who was starting to put two and two together. "Never mind, I don't need an answer to that," Niall said holding out his hands as if they'd prevent any words from coming out of our mouths. This time Harry laughed and I shook my head.

We spent the better part of the day at SoHo House chatting, relaxing, and having some drinks, though I opted for water. Niall raised an eyebrow at my refusal for a drink, knowing me a bit too well. We had bonded over our love of Irish whiskey (any whiskey honestly) and beer in Santa Clara, so this seemed out of character to him. I was able to chalk it up to my early morning flight and he didn't press the issue. The sky was melting from blue to orange when Harry and I decided to skip out and head back to the hotel. Niall didn't protest. He had made some friends throughout the evening and when a few girls joined him at the table he was more than content to be left behind.

Harry had made up for the drinks I had refused, perhaps because Niall was persistent on a drinking buddy. Harry was an adorable shade of rosy red and his long limbs were visibly loose as he fumbled with the keycard to get into the door. I laughed and took it from him, getting the door opened on the first try.

"Show off," he muttered under his breath and he gave me an exaggerated pout.

I laughed as I pulled him into the room and treated his pink pouty lips to a quick kiss. He tasted like liquor with a hint of sweetness. The room was lit with a orangey glow from the sun setting outside the large glass wall of windows. It was still bright enough that I didn't bother to flip on the lights.

"No more boots!," Harry declared as he sauntered Mick Jagger-style towards the sitting area, not because he meant to, but because he lacked full control of his body movements in his current state.

Harry took a seat on the oversized ottoman to remove his boots. I leaned on the back of an armchair and watched him, knowing this would be entertaining. First he bent down to remove his shoes, but he couldn't seem to stay balanced enough to pull one off his foot. Next, he tried to lift his right foot up and cross it over onto his left knee. This ended with Harry falling back onto the ottoman in a thud. He turned his head abruptly when I laughed at him, but I couldn't help myself.

"Do you want some help baby?," I got out between laughs as I stepped from around the chair.

He didn't bother to answer as I was already kneeling at his feet and pulling off his brown suede boots. Harry stayed flat on his back, only lifting his head to watch me with a subtle smile. I tossed his boots to the side and placed my palms on his thighs to push myself from the ground. Harry quickly placed his hands on the back of mine to keep me from moving.

"You can help take those off too," Harry said as his smile turned suggestive. "I mean, you're already on your knees," he bargained with an attempt at a wink. I laughed at his lack of romance when he was drunk.
